Black people had it worse during Jim Crow than during slavery.

please tell me you dont really believe that.

I do, when they were slaves, they were VALUABLE property. Once they were freed, the ex slave-owners/racist fucks still thought of them as subhuman, but since they weren’t worth money to people, they tortued and killed them even more so than what was done during slavery.

“In psychology and logic, rationalization or rationalisation (also known as making excuses) is a defense mechanism in which controversial behaviors or feelings are justified and explained in a seemingly rational or logical manner to avoid the true explanation, and are made consciously tolerable – or even admirable and superior – by plausible means. It is also an informal fallacy of reasoning.

Rationalisation happens in two steps:

  1. A decision, action, judgement is made for a given reason or no (known) reason at all (in cases for instance of dogmatic judgement or normal behaviour).
  2. A rationalisation is perfomed, constructing a seemingly good or logical reason, as an attempt to justify the act after the fact (for oneself or others).

Rationalization encourages irrational or unacceptable behavior, motives, or feelings and often involves ad hoc hypothesizing. This process ranges from fully conscious (e.g. to present an external defense against ridicule from others) to mostly unconscious (e.g. to create a block against internal feelings of guilt). People rationalize for various reasons — sometimes when we think we know ourselves better than we do. Rationalization may differentiate from the original deterministic explanation of the behavior or feeling in question”

See… the problem with being on the “wrong” side of this argument is that… this war has already been declared, fought and LOST by those that would defend such a position.

First, Michael Moore isn’t even IN that video.

Second, he had nothing to do with the creation of that cartoon; only including it in his documentary.

Thirdly, there’s nothing in the toon that isn’t factual.

Lastly, you want some historical perspective? Here: 1925

http://www.google.com/search?h…..13.0.msedr…0…1c.1.64.mobile-gws-hp..0.13.1983.2.MT8fwvanjCE

First, that doesn’t make him any less of a fat sack of shit whiney douche bag

Second, no shit sherlock he can barely make uninspired putrecent films

Thirdly, everything in that toon is an over the top, extremely biased, propaganda filled with half truths

Lastly, that link gave me 0 historical perspective on anything I wasn’t already fully aware of.

faggot.

I’m the same way. When I hear Michael Moore, my listening shuts down and I ignore everything being said by him. Michael Moore is just not one of my favorite people. He’s one of those people that should be glad I don’t have the power to burn things with my thoughts. He and probably Nancy Grace would be perpetually burning if I could.

Did anyone see when Nancy Grace had 2 Chainz on her show and he schooled her ass during a debate about Marijuana?

I sure am biased on a few things. Anyone who says they arent is either oblivious to their own self or a shameless liar.

so this is not talking about the new albums anymore…. but lets do that . i just wanted to state and share that I’m getting depressed over all the hate for ICP’s newer music and how they are now…. i can’t believe it really… i hope its just the internet thats exposing  whats always been there…. i need to get to a show and see how the fam is now, i haven’t been for some time. And i like the new album, of course. And i think all the overall judging really should wait til Found came out anyways, since its a 2 part Card. I love ICP and always will. I Thank you ICP for continuing to do what you do.

I “love” and respect the clowns as well, but that doesn’t mean I have to blindly eat up and love every product they put out. I think TML is just above the tempest, and that’s only because there are a couple songs I actually like on it, while the tempest has none. Honestly, I am not even going to THINK about buying found until I hear it all. Which kinda sucks because that means I most likely won’t be able to buy it at GOTJ, but I’m done preordering things and getting fucked over with a sub par product. I feel like House of Wax was a good example that they were getting back into their stride with MEC, because that was the best product they’ve have released in YEARS, then they just go to a mess of other producers. Which would have been great, but they decided to go with “New school beats” instead of just DOPE beats. Seven could have produced an AMAZING, dark sounding and carnival sounding ICP album.

I feel like they have completely taken the CARNIVAL aspect out of the dark carnival, which has been going on for a while. Maybe that’s why House of Wax felt like such a great return to form. That and it actually sounded like they were TRYING. Listen to the rhymes J was pulling in 2004-2006 and listen to what he’s dropping now. Listen to his verses on black rain. House of wax was like that to me as well, but TML:L just sounds like they didn’t care to me. They did say they produced this album much faster than MDP, that they just knocked it out, which is maybe why it sounds like a lower quality to me.

House of wax is the shit, I think seven could probably do a good carnival sound but I think MEC is apart of ICP you just cant top his work

After having listened to it from several sources (my CD, someone else’s, the SPIN stream and YouTube), it would seem that the track “How” is fucked up, sorta.

There are several places in the song where there can be heard what are called “audio artifacts” which sometimes occur during the burning or transfer process (or IOW compression). They pretty much live in the higher frequencies.

It’s hard to describe in words but it sounds like a kind of high end digital, crunchy, static-y, twinkly kinda sound. I would sometimes have it happen to myself when I was burning out mix CDs of my sets but I chalked it up to a settings issue (burn too fast, track not hi-fi enough, etc.)

The first example would be at around the 0:42 mark, another at 1:17 and several others. Once you can detect it, you can tell it’s pervasive throughout the track (to varying degrees).

I mean, it’s obviously a very “ignorable” thing for most, but after having had to (at one time before I figured out the issue) listen to almost every CD I burned to check for these kinda “artifacts”, my ears get tweaked when I hear it.

It’s ONLY found on “How” and I’ve listened to TMML many a’ time with good monitor headphones and they make it that much more apparent (than say online).

Wonder what was going on with that track that would cause it?

There’s obviously subliminal messaging to get juggalos to accept Jesus Christ as their lord and savior.
