I was listening to new amb and I just cant get into them.They sound so bored and monotonous to me.I can dig a few tracks like us against the world,moe,might go mad, and bleed but thats it. I really like j and shaggys verse on might go mad though.

From what I can gather as someone who just can’t get into AMB, the consensus here is that track featuring ICP is dope enough regardless. Anyone disagree? Because if no one objects, I’ll roll with my FLH homies’ opinions and just download the single track off iTunes or whatever site sells it. That’s all the skrilla I’ll give AMB. I’m out of the loop.. can people still buy a single MP3 off the internet?

The clowns fucking schooled that shit. Shaggy’s really upped his gamed lately, he was dope on Death Pop, Halloween Head, and Goblin (and this feature). I’m stoked to hear him on the new Lotus album.

Alright… Let me preface this by saying I’ve had nearly zero exposure to AMB – certainly not enough to have any pro or anti opinion before listening. These are just random thoughts and observations – the #’s do not indicate track numbers.

#1: Bad first impression… Before even popping in a CD, I check out the sleeve. This sleeve… Is lacking. Thanks, credits, etc; and that’s it. To top it off, there’s a goddamn typo on the right side – “ALL SONGS WIRTTEN & PERFORMED…” Who lets that happen to a semi-highly promoted CD? Damn.

#2: A C.M. Punk and a Hopsin reference in the same sentence? Holy shit lol. Yeah, prior comments are spot on – ICP’s part of Might Go Mad kicks ass. The rest of the song is pretty good, too.

#3: These guys would benefit BIG TIME if Mike E. Clark got involved. Roughly half of the CD has some pretty boring beats. Now, with that being said, the other half are pretty good, with 2 or 3 tracks having beats that are definitely “bump-worthy”.

#4: I can see where some prior comments are coming from that say they sound unmotivated and boring… And to a degree, that assessment is right. But I don’t think it’s a lack of passion or motivation, it’s just a stylistic difference. If they were just slacking, it wouldn’t be throughout the CD, it’d be a track here and there. I think that’s just their style. And if you keep that in mind, it sounds better, somehow.

Bottom line: Is it the best non-ICP album Psychopathic has released? Not by a long shot. Is it worth listening to? Yeah. Is it worth ten bucks and some change, to support a pair of brothers who’re obviously still learning the trade? Whose best days are probably still ahead of them? 10 bucks? Sure. I don’t feel robbed, by any means.

This is after one straight-through listen. I’ll probably listen to it again. Maybe even a third time!

If you’re already convinced you don’t like them, don’t spend the money. If you’re on the fence, or like me, new to them altogether, it’s worth checking out.

Fresh Homie, still waiting on my copy. Hatchetgear mailed it to me last Thursday, but my copy has to cross the border into Canada, which can delay shit. Hyped as hell to listen to that shit.

Still haven’t found any torrents on my go to sites, which means they haven’t sold many copies so far. Usually there’s at least a few people seeding next day.

People dont know what theyre missing. This album is amazing.
