My opinion/1st (somewhat) in-depth review of an album.. isnt my 1st reaction i bumped it once & replayed some favs but this was barely my 2nd listen all the way through and my 1st attempt at fully digesting the album..
click here for my review in more proper sentencing lol
1. Intro – Opens with a burning house/building & a fire truck pulling up.. A dark beat kicks in & towards the end some guy is speaking in Spanish.. could be better, could be worse.. for a intro i’d say 3.5/5
2. Us Against The World – Opens with Otis SPITTIN about himself & his career with AMB. Otis on the chorus. It’s pro-wicked & their own lil 2pac inspired “me against the world”. Bonez is on the g tip.. Dope intro type song. 5/5
3. M.O.E. – Simple song about murder but the beat & Otis’s flow get super funky & fresh once the beat drops.. Song suffers cuz imo bonez is out-rapped in most aspects: flow, delivery, energy, lyricism etc.. however i think it sets the bar low for him which makes following songs not suffer as much.. with me at least.. chorus is on point, done by ot. 4/5
4. I Get Even – This beat is some classic AMB shit.. sounds unforgiven forest era.. The Song’s about “getting even” both come correct although once again Otis is the favorable one here yet again.. another fresh Otis chorus.. 5/5
5. Smoke Kush – Somewhat unique production for a weed track but then again most of amb’s are.. Otis shows he can kill with lyrical content & not have to rely on chopping. One of his standout verses of the album, lyrically imo.. & yet another Otis chorus.. 4.5/5
6. Might Go Mad ft. ICP – crazy dark beat & flow from Otis kicks off this track which is on some murderer/killa shit. Def a stand out. Bonez is on some insane/mad shit & stays on point. J & Shaggs trade every 4 bars they mostly stay with multis (which is unique for them not Otis which is why I never mentioned it til now) both kill it but Shaggs really shines & IMO has some of his best lyricism structure & consistency-wise. 5/5
7. Roaches – dope beat Otis on some random shit I guess all pertaining to the chorus of being roaches which is obviously metaphorical for surviving through crazy circumstances.. Doesn’t really get “deep” though & following the previous song makes it a lil harder to fully retain.. Otis’s 6th chorus in a row.. 4/5
8. Shine – Not a stand out like “Still Alive” was but a good track nonetheless with a similar concept.. both rap about shining & random generic concepts of theirs.. not a pro on singing but chorus sounds off which hurts it significantly 3.5/5
9. Bleed ft. ABK – dope deep beat, lyrics, and chorus from Otis. Bonez on the g tip. ABK comes with a correct feature as well. 5/5
10. No Trust – is about shady bitches. A cheater & a snitch. Everything is generally super on point. Bonez kills the chorus. 4.5/5
11. I Keeps It Movin – This track has a super crazy weird but fresh beat. Seems like just a chopping track considering the random subjects. I think it could’ve been the song they wanted Snow & Rittz on considering Otis shouts them out.. 4.5/5
12 Listen ft. Big Hoodoo – Dark beat with a saddening mexican guitar. Otis starts with a verse about his dysfunctional family. Bonez on that baby mama drama shit. Hoodoo on some random wicked shit with a Esham reference to top it off 4/5
13. Runaway – Otis opens singing for a nice portion of the track which makes it give off an R&B vibe.. Parts of the chorus & Bonez bring the rappin back tho. However it closes with OT singing. track is fresh nonetheless if you feel that vibe.. It’s about killin a bitch for trying to leave you 4.5/5
14. Nobody Get Hurt – this track reminds me of some 311/Sublime type shit.. Pretty much a scrub love robin hood type theme with generic AMB themes being rapped about as well.. Although I appreciate the uniqueness, a classic PSY closer would’ve been more preferable. With me at least.. 4/5

I’m sorry but you practically begged for something like this to happen.
Here is my review of Warlock’s review:
1.) Alright, an intro review!!!!! Featuring the special guests a “dark beat” and “Spanish.” My God, this album is already doomed.
2.) Otis is SPITTIN on this joint. That’s right, those caps weren’t an accident, Otis is SPITTIN on this one fam. SPITTIN about bein’ Otis, but not on the g tip, the g tip belongs to the other guy on this one. He’s on the g tip for true. Warlock can’t help but compare 2 mediocre at best rappers to another long dead overrated rapper, 2PAC. Somehow I don’t think if Otis and the other guy got gunned down today the world at large would consider them rap legends. It probably would happen in a shitty neighborhood and not even make the news. Warlock then states and underlines the word song, stating in fact that the second song on this album is indeed a song.
3.) Warlock busts out the dictionary and gives us readers the words “funky” and “fresh” to discribe Otis and the beat as “funky fresh.” I’m not kidding, he actually said that. The other guy wasn’t as on point on this track, but according to Warlock, this is okay, as it sets the listener up for further disappointment down the line and this is a lyrical offering by the other guy to, cushion the blow, if you will. Sort of spit by the other guy for the benefit of letting you down gradually, easily. One also has to wonder if Otis may have let Warlock down a little bit on this one, as towards the end of number 3, he has given to referring to him as ot.
4.) Here’s where we separate the men from the boys in the world of record review journalism. Warlock is really droppin’ knowledge bombs on his review of track 4. Some classic AMB shit says the Warlock, and the song is called “I Get Even.” Warlock sends a spoiler alert here, telling us ahead of time that this song is indeed, about “getting even.” Otis once again outshines the other guy and the Warlock awards a score of 5/5 for a song that had one rapper clearly outshining the other. Must be that dope chorus by Otis, who has climbed up in the Warlock’s good graces, as he is now back to referring to him as Otis, dropping the ot shenanigans. One has to wonder what that was all about.
5.) Track 5 has the Warlock in a cloud of ass kissing to the name of “Smoke Kush.” As unique as AMB’s past offerings, which the Warlock states are always unique (Not horrible like we all think. They’re unique damn you! Unique!) but not only that, Otis also once again shows his lyrical ability and shows that he no longer needs to rely on choppin’ vegetables to pay his rent. Good to know. Warlock loves this like every other track so far, they’re so unique and timeless. Will it continue? Probably, let’s read on, assumptions aside…..
6.) This ong has not only a ‘dark beat’ but a “crazy dark beat” which has Otis spittin (not in caps this time though)some “murderer/killa shit.” This is quite unique, and the Warlock has no problems in saying so. Again. Who would have thought that the “Axe Murder Boys” would actually rap about murder? How unique!!! Definitely a stand out track, with the other guy actually staying on point for once. According to Warlock that is….
7.) Roaches aren’t just for weed references anymore, they now attain to going through some crazy shit. Like yo fam, did you see that earthquake on TV? That shit was roaches. Hope those roaches survived the roach. That shit was roached for real.
I give up, I have a meeting to go to. Why did you break down every track @the-warlock? You just kiss their ass on every song, it’s just plain embarrassing to read. This album sucks, I can’t even get through the tracks I’ve previewed, it’s horrible AMB crap as usual. Stop kissing their ass, this album sucks, yet according to your “review”, it’s basically a timeless classic. At least through track 7, I couldn’t read anymore after that. Stop telling people to buy this album, we should all be helping your other favorite rapper Esham get off the streets, not buying this inane horses hit. Stop it, knock it off. You don’t even know Otis, you don’t even know him!!!!!

haha hey i keeps it real man..
No you don’t, you just kiss their ass. You keep it real bullshit, by telling people that this bullshit is good.
You can’t even bring yourself to diss the other guy, you just conveniently forget to mention his shortcomings. Get off AMB’s nuts, you’re so in love with them it is seriously clouding your better judgement.

Should have my copy tomorrow… Liking most of the opinions I’ve seen so far, both the biased and unbiased. Warlock, nice work breaking it down track-by-track… And, at the same time, patjoyce’s satire of your review was actually pretty good as well. Funny shit, man. I can appreciate a hater if they actually put some thought into their hate. I’ll add my opinion to the thread tomorrow.

Elect me mod and there will be an AMB thread in every home…car…and dumpster…AMB threads for everyone…
Oh and just my two cents…bitching about people being haters just makes the person bitching look really small and sad…If its the internet and it isn’t that serious why take the time to go back and bitch about bitching…its some bitch shit…oh now shit now im bitching…its a bitchedemic around here…Where is Jim Lahey when you need him…The Liquor should be a moderator on here…I would prefer a shitpocolpyse to a bitchedemic…my spell check just said punch yourself in the dick btw…
Oh and I actually kinda dig this album…im no longer an AMB hater…im still not a fan, but I was impressed by this offering.

Warlocks review was pretty thorough and confirms my suspicions that otis carries the album. Ill definitely check it out once it hits youtube.
Also, cmon, pats review of the review was funny as fuck. It made me chuckle.

^^^^^^^^^^^^His review up there^^^^^^^^^^^I pretty much figured you were going to rate the songs on the higher side of the rankings.
The best part of this album is the ICP and Big Hoodoo features.
……………..let the fun begin.
lol.. i think the whole icp joint as well as my man Ot & his skills are the main highlights of the album..
