And Miklo said that I’m unoriginal and rip off other people’s songs.

Even you admitted you ripped off Esham for your song “Fuck You All”. I remember still giving you a solid 6 out of 10 for that track though, it wasn’t bad.

2015 is the official year of the Juggalo.

What do you think about this being our official year? And why this year?

more than the churchie folderol, im interested to see reactions about the riddle box thing.

several ninjas who attended the juggalo day show told me theyd be pissed off if icp ever did another riddle box show [or milenko, same story].

id prefer it if ‘once in a lifetime’-type events only happened once.  but i missed both of those concerts, so i might be one to benefit.

the two tours?  if its two tours of the same nine cities, that aint so impressive.

im not sure why we would be talkin about abk.  here, or anywhere else.

Honestly, it’s all about the music.  For me, anyway.  And we got TWO albums.  TWO tours.  And am I the only one that read that gem about them doing Riddle Box shows?

Also, how come no one’s talking about ABK?  He’s got an album due and released a video today.

I saw that. I just didn’t get too excited since they rarely make it down to Houston.

The video was short. Kinda OK, but I am not into songs about sex. Yeah it’s about a dead chick, but just not my thing.

Gay, it’s one of the songs he released when not on psy and everything sounded like butt from him. I knew I recognized the song title.

Psy hasn’t really ever did much for ABK, or Blaze and Twiztid for that matter. They have always kinda been put on the back burner.

Republican! Die hard to the point of being absurd. I would vote Republican over Democrat even if the candidate was a serial murdering necrophiliac.

sounds like some selfish juggalos if you ask me.

I remember when rydas dropped. it was “limited to 5K copies for ultimate collectibility freshness!!!!” I jumped on my copies (got 2) and 3 weeks later, a 2nd printing was being done, and as far as i know it still pops up in HG from time to time

Frankly I LOVE the idea of the possibility of going to one of those shows. I think they should do a 5-10 date tour trying to hit east west north and south so as many ninjas can get to a riddlebox (or other full album) show as possible.

They pushed the shit outta Twiztid.  Blaze and ABK yeah, they got the bone usually.  Twiztid’s problem is for whatever reason they seem to try and do things at the same time as ICP, and expect Psychopathic to push them as much as they’re pushing ICP… while still distinguishing themselves and building their own brand.  I know it’s not the popular opinion (what of mine is, though), but I think Psychopathic handled Twiztid the best way they could.

i really dont think twiztid got fucked over at all.  definitely not as much as most juggalos act like.

maybe they thought they got fucked, but they didnt seem to much care about how much work was already being done on their behalf.

they say they had big ideas n shit, but lets not forget, they were big ideas that someone else was supposed to be paying for.

agreed, I think twiztid is the only psy group other than ICP who psy actually pushed

personally, I also feel they were the only group on psy who deserved the push. blaze and ABK were great backup/opening acts for the clowns and twiztid, but i would never spend money to go see blaze or ABK headlining ever

I gotta disagree on that one. It isn’t acceptable to not have visuals with your albums in this new youtube age we live in. They could have done a lot more for ’em. I guess it’s possible that was twiztids fault though and not the company. Maybe twiztid wasn’t out pushing themselves as much as they could have. I just have always assumed its the record companies job to do all that PR shit.

That’s another convo that’s been done to death on here though so I’ll just leave it at that.

ill be honest, most the videos bore me these days, Id rather them spend time on losing weight in Js case, and in shaggys case, some speech therapy, know im’sayin?

complete speculation here [fuckin disclaimers…], but they always struck me as the types who would just show up and be like, ‘we wanna do a video, so hook it up!’  not considering that it takes time, planning, effort, and money.  and that it was their responsibility to bring them about.

either way, they surely know it now.

Going back to that cereal shit, is anyone else hyped about French Toast Crunch being back in stock? I thought it was going to be like going back and watching Power Rangers, where it’s not as good as my memory made it out to be but I was way fucking wrong. That shit is still like little pieces of buttered toast dipped in maple syrup. And pie is much better than cake, unless you’re talking about cheesecake but cheesecake is cake in the same way that a tomato is a fruit. I mean, sure, technically that’s true but it’s dumb and no one is happy about it.

Any other atheists or agnostics in here?  Believer or not, what are your thoughts on J’s description of The Missing Link?

I’m an atheist and a Unitarian Universalist. (I practice a religion that does not require the belief in a deity or the supernatural).

I fucking love the description j gives. I think it holds true to the jokers cards mythology and it makes a lot of sense. They use “christian” sounding language but they aren’t really christian and they certainly don’t mean Juggalos have to be all turned on to jesus.

There’s a religion called the Baha’i Faith and they believe in a god that is the source for all religions and is unknowable to humans in it’s pure form. Each religion is a broken facet of the view of that “god”.

I call it the Great Unknowable Supernatural Being and I definitely think that is how ICP see their vision of “God”. They’ve ALWAYS talked about how their views on God weren’t explicitly about a specific god, but about living right (not being a bigot, not being greedy, etc).

The LINK isn’t a LINK to god, it’s a karmic link. A cycle in the repetitions of joy and pain. J talks about how they themselves sometimes feel that they’ve found their “Link” and sometimes they feel like their “Link” is lost. The Link is the card itself. It’s like the riddlebox or the Great Milenko. It’s a character that represents their ideas of what it means to be living a good life. If you’re “lost”, it doesn’t mean that you don’t have god, it means that you’re struggling in a cycle of pain and you need to start being a better person so that you can find the link. If you’re “found”, it is important to not lose grasp of what it means to be lost because you may end up there again if your karmic balance falls the other way.

What goes around, comes around.

It’s a very Buddhist (not Christian) thought, much like what is on the latest Dark Lotus album. It’s about impermanence, and the cyclical nature of life, not “you’d better fucking repent to jesus!”

I really wish people would learn to see past the language they use and focus on what they’re actually talking about.
