let us assume that the central point here is that the link to god is specifically what is missing [as j says]; and further assume [speculate/pull from our asses] that ultimately, we juggalos are, as juggalos, more or less expected to have found that link.  

if they are addressing that directly, its gonna have a broad effect on juggalo demographics.  what i mean is, there will be noticeable changes as far as who the juggalos are made up of.  itll cause many of the anti-churchies to bail out.  shagrila definitely did, and it seems like this will be much more blunt.  blunter.  point is, it may well be looked at as excluding not only anti-churches, but also non-churchies, anybody not in church.  and theyve gotta already know all that, unless they somehow missed it before.

we dont all have faith.  i dont.  or rather, i recognize that faith is not founded on much more than wishes, i dont place much stock in it, and what faith i have is in people [not all of em, just the ones i trust], as opposed to church or god.

In my opinion, if these type of things J says turns you away then either A) you were never that big of a fan anyway or B) you’re way too invested in the music.

It seems like some of you keep getting caught up playing the Synonym Game. SO let me try to “amend” J’s comments replacing all of the synonyms with ONE word, so that those of you confused by how others might be finding offense and keep this shit going in circles.

What follows is the *whole message, in order. I’ve only deleted the first few sentences that are not in question.

Here’s your primer: all uses of the words GOD, FAITH, SALVATION, and HOPE have been REPLACED with the word “RELIGION” in bold face because those words are constantly being misappropriated in their usage when they all are meant as the same single word… “religion”. It may make some sentences sound funny with double usage but I am attempting to drive the point home to those that can’t see it.

So here ya go @luckynumbrxiii  and the like, this is what the NON-believers see when we read stuff like this. Hope (excuse me “religion” ;P) it helps bring about some understanding.

I can’t believe how his answer is being interpreted to mean something other than god. It’s very clear what he says. If you don’t have god, you’re “lost”. I know this is only reiterating what’s already been said multiple times but damn, how is it so complicated? There’s no need for interpretation on this one. Admittedly J sometimes talks in circles and shit but this isn’t one of those times.  

I just don’t understand why anybody is willing to continue the debate with Luck when all he does is spit out Bullshit! Hell, the initial start of the debate, like many of his debates, is because he didn’t actually read a comment and spit out some Bullshit! to battle the comment. Plus, he literally insulted the whole forum with his “I know most of you haven’t graduated highschool…” comment.

I dropped out, I got me GED, which I do recognize as the equivalent to Jr. High education. I mean, people seriously struggle with that test which says a lot about our education system.

But I did do half a year of College. So… what would I qualify as? I’d just call myself a high school graduate because I completely aced the high school level math class that I took which was the only field that I wasn’t college level at because I just hadn’t learned the formulas. I dropped out at 10th grade about 1 third of the way through.

I miss college because I learned shit but it’s way too expensive.
