I agree with you on the religious themes. They’ve always been there and if people can’t handle them using them, they’re way to fucking sensitive to be listening to Insane Clown Posse anyway. I think the distinction, and more to the point, the problem, is that in the interview he wasn’t talking in undertones or themes. He was saying, point blank that people that haven’t found faith in god, any god, don’t live as happily as people that have. In order to put it into perspective imagine him saying “If you’re gay, you aren’t living as happily as straight people.” That’s an absurd statement, even though ICP have a…questionable lol….history about their views on gay people, they’ve never used it as a base for a whole album. Of course, the topic has shifted like a mofo but I’m fairly certain that was the tipping off point. At least it was for me. 

Also, I’m still excited as fuck to hear the albums and I’m still preordering them bitches but there’s a specific type of reluctance there that, up until now, I’ve only had for the outside world. Never the Juggalo one.

It is, though.  Like, you all can’t handle the fact that Violent J is religious and that’s what inspired him and Shaggy to do ICP and the Joker Cards.  Yes, it is in fact EVERYONE ELSE that takes exception to that.  

Don’t say “you all”. I’m geeked to hear both albums regardless of what he said in the interview. Can you not see that you are lumping everybody in when you were just complaining about Christians all being lumped in to the same category? Far as I read, nobody said they aren’t going to listen to the album now because of what was said in the interview. People just don’t want to be openly preached at in an ICP album.They were voicing their concerns over that.

Thats his opinion, you may find it silly, just like i do, but why not separate the personal shit from the music. I learned long ago to not get drawn into their personal views, because i really dont care if i agree or disagree, all that i care about is whether i enjoy the music 

I’m not too offended, but that’s why people are offended. I agree though, always said that it’s better to say what you feel in the tunes rather than put up facades and do something that’s not you even when they are begging for it.
