I find myself listening to The Outtakes more then Lost or Found too, however it may just be because it's a newer release. I think the outtakes album alone would've been a worthy 3'rd jokers card, and I love Lost and Found. Some of the best treats they've given us in years.

I actually love BPB and MDP as well, they're already classics in my eyes. Some of my favorite albums of theirs, dare I say. I started listening to ICP around the Jeckel Brothers era, with Riddle Box being my first album, and I couldn't be more stoked for each album, as they've yet to disappoint me with this set.

As far as Young Wicked goes, I think his solo album was a real gem. The subject matter was really relatable and I find myself bumping it quite a bit. I don't think he messed ICP's stuff up at all, quite the opposite. You can tell he's really passionate in all he does, and I'm glad he's here to stay. He blows away any other current Psy artist right now if you ask me, and is about as good anyone that's been on the label. I'm really excited for the future after the handful of albums we've gotten this year.

A return of MEC for another album would be very welcomed though. ;)

Now that the new album smell has worn off for everyone, what's your thoughts?

Lost sucked as an album, Found sucked as an album, and Outtakes was better. Take the best off of all three and assemble them where they'd all go on a standard jokers card and you have a pretty fucking solid card. Go figure. That's where I stand on it anyway. Also, anyone else imagine Michael Jackson as Mr. White Suit? It feels like the type of tune J would write for him.

Lost definitely lost it's luster after a while.  I liked it first, but ultimately it doesn't seem enduring and it might be least favorite joker's card.

Found is still a classic.  Wouldn't rank it ahead of milenko, ringmaster, or riddle box but I'd put it ahead of everything else, except maybe jeckel bros.

I didn't listen to Outtakes enough to let it grow on me, it was fun for what it was but most of the tracks were skippable.

I haven't gone back to Lost since the first few weeks after its release. I found it very lazy and stale.

Found I'd say, is my favorite Joker's card from this new deck. Since it came out It's probably the only ICP I've listened to aside from Riddlebox anniversary and some other older scrapped material I came across. The album has a very fresh and crisp sound and was a breath of fresh air. There were a couple tracks I found rather lame, but all-in-all I really dig it.

I've only listened through the Outtakes record once or twice. The Lost cuts are definitely better, IMO, than what made it to the LP. Don't really have an opinion either way on the stuff they left off Found. That could be because I like that album as it is and really didn't find many flaws.

All in all, I'm excited for the first time in quite a few years to see what ICP has planned next.

Both of The Missing Links were super polarizing records. Half of the albums were COMPLETE AND UTTER SHIT, but the other half was ABSOLUTE GOLD.

Image Enlarger

The outtakes album was better than both of the missing links, I don't know why those tracks were left off the joker's cards.

The Phantom was a whole new ball game, in my opinion it is literally the best thing ICP has released since The Eye Of The Storm in 2007. It's so old school to me!
"Car Jack, Car Jack up in Detroit MURDEROUS! Fire in the streets, burning up burning up. What happens now, when carjacks the clown, pull you outta your ride and drive it all through the town. We been around (HEY!) We been around, the wicked clowns (HEY!), we been around (WHOOP WHOOP)"

Lost was pretty good at first, haven't listened to it in a while. Flamethrower is just fuckin EPIC old school ICP!  I need an entire album of flamethrower.

Found....well I found it completely fucking embarrassing to listen to.  That album is fucking HORRIBLE, it was as bad as MDP.  Its just ICP at their worst.....for the 109th time....ITS FUCKIN KIDDIE MUSIC!!!!!  If your fuckin 12 years old, yes you may like it. My own god damn old man opinion.

Outtakes was sweet, I agree with most.  That album has the most replay value.  Carousel, 6 ped and The Dream are my joints! I just wanna know how can you listen to those songs and be like "nah, lets rolls with Dreams of Grandeur" or Pineapple Pizza.

My god man.  I just really hate the teeny bop shit.

Here's my 2 cents...

I'll start off wit listing my favorite songs followed by a lil rant.

LOST-Intro; Confederate Flag; How; Flamethrower; I see the devil

FOUND-Found; Get clowned; Ok; Mr. White suit; The midway; I fucked a cop; The world is yours; Dreams of grandeur; Time

So obviously i like found alot but dont get it twisted i believe in no god. Wit that being said i find the song found empowering. I was so psyched for found to come out since i found my link bout 3 years ago and i knew it would be magical and refreshing just like shangri la was when it dropped. So y do i dig these albums even tho i dont believe in a higher power, "the world is yours" explains it all. I believe u are ur own god, u can do anything u set ur mind to. They basically tell u that but its hard to get what u want cuz of all da negative shit around distracting u and makin u lose focus of ur dreams.

On another note i feel that anyone who says found is a childs album is lost themselves. Im 29 and  Ive been down since milenko era so i know whut its like to wait for the end of time to consume me. Whut da fam needs to realize is that icp dont have any anger in them anymore. Before the 6th they had it rough, imagine being hated by society, by record labels, juggalos parents and being broke all the time. they went thru so much shit its amazing that they even stuck it out to the 6th. They took all their negatives and tried to make somethin positive out of it thru music. There will never be no wicked insane shit like they use to do becuz of the anger being lost. I was one of the few who was glad J got off the pills, started smokin weed and found his link, he was so happy. Thats y psychopathic was at its peak durin that era and we all benefited from it. So stop askin 4 da old skool shit and embrace what they do wit an open mind. This is my opinion tho. Opinions are another word for reality, my opinion, my reality, my world and ur all just living in it. Same wit u its ur world and im just an entity living in it. The way u percieve a bic lighter is different than the way i percieve it, just sayin.

And on another off topic note i cant believe how fam is havin a hard time defining the word JUGGALO. Its so simple its another word for outcasts. We decided to to take a negative word that defined us (outcast) and flip that bitch into a positive empowering word. And the gathering is just the offspring of an icp show back in the day. Back then an icp concert was a place for all the outcast of that city they were in to GATHER and find new friends and feel free to be themselves witout being judged. Unfortunately i was one of the juggalos who never had a thing, so i never got to see them in concert till bang pow boom. I couldnt even get a tshirt due to growing up poor and never gettin to a show. I was lucky enough to be able to afford their cd's and im so thankful for that cuz it made me not afraid of finding myself and gave me a place in this world. Go refresh ur minds and give shangri la a listen to, "we belong" and "thy unveiling" have more meaning to the word juggalo than i realize.

Man you are on point homie. I'm 31 Been down since milenko, only fortunate to afford a couple shirts and cds growin up. Also didn't make it to a show till bang pow boom. Still never been to a gathering I was always too poor and now I'm a father with no time. But I'm happy just following and keeping up with them floobs. The marvelous missing link albums all have specific taste but should have all been one album in my opinion.

TMML is by far my favorite era of the new deck. I prefer Lost over Found but the title track to Found is probably one of the best songs they've ever released. And I'm not one for happy, shiny ICP either.

I think Lost has that fuck you, ICP rage I've been missing from them over the years and the beats are much darker than they've been in years (worth mentioning that House of Wax embodied this as well).

Could they have replaced songs from Found with some of the Outtakes? Yes. Dreams of Grandeur is the Juggalo Island/Ghetto Rainbows of TMML and I'm still confused why its on Found when he turns out to be a giant dick in the end. Mr. White Suit is cringeworthy. I wouldn't touch the Outtakes though, I think it flows smoothly all the way through.

1. The Outtakes

2. Lost

3. Found

Damn, I disagree with almost everything you said except that songs from Found could be replaced with some songs off of Outtakes and your dislike of happy friendly ICP. I consider Found (the song) to be even worse than Miracles. The new deck seems to be doin the same that the last deck did: Person A's favorite deck is Person B's least favorite and Person A's least favorite is Person B's favorite. Which is exactly the way it should be. Every card is someones favorite.

It's the shit that this (these?) new card(s?) hit the spot for ya. It says a lot that you don't typically like their upbeat stuff but like the title track for Found enough to say that it's probably one of the best songs they've ever released. That's a very, very positive song. Strictly out of curiosity, do you like Bang! Pow! Boom! and Mighty Death Pop?

I love hearing that actually. lol I've said it before but I enjoy how eclectic the jokers cards are and continue to be. I'm an upbeat kind of person too so I don't even know why I don't like the happier side of ICP. But there is just something about the song Found that stuck with me, that song gets A LOT of love. That is a good fucking song.

I wasn't the biggest fan of BPB but the MDP was a decent album. Both albums contain great songs but I wasn't feeling MEC's production on either. Truthfully, I was also pretty hyped to hear they were working with Seven, Kuma, and Fritz for the latest Lotus album.

Lost does not get played much at all by me still. I don't hate it, I just don't care to listen to it. As mentioned above, "Flamethrower" is a phenomenal song. I like "Apocalypse" and "Shock".

Found is still enjoyable. My homie and I played the hell out of the happy friendly tracks on there, "Ok", "The World is Yours". Also dig "Found", "Get Clowned", "Lost at the Carnival", "The Midway"... shit most all are good. Still do not lI've the White Suit shit, but "Delusions of Grandeur" grew on me. As did "Time", sort of.

Haven't really listened to The Outtakes. Maybe I will order it.

I have to say Found the album does not get much play from me anymore. I strait up put it in for the first asong and last song and pick like one or two songs from the middle lol. I like the album but like @v_ron said the upbeat songs dont get much play. But love those two of found ALOT. Does that mean shit like pass me by is upbeat? Or happy go lucky cuz if so im just lost and mixed up. Cuz its a happy fucken song. To me at least. But doesnt have a very upbeat tempo or whatever.

I guess its safe to say the upbeat songs are a hit and miss for me. This comes from a guy who likes Miracles.

Well let's see.  After reading people's thoughts on these albums now, I went back and listened to Lost this morning to give it one more shot.  And I think it still fuckin sucks.   Falling Apart and Shock are great songs and Flamethrower is pretty good.  But outside of that I don't really like any of the album.  Confederate Flag just makes me roll my eyes, even when I saw the title of the song.  It just sounds lazy cause they already did that once.  To me, most of the songs sound the same.  I love dark wicked ICP, but I didn't enjoy that album at all.  If I want dark and wicked I'd rather listen to Phantom - all those songs are better than ANYTHING on Lost.  Murder Gone Wrong is a fucking great song and the beat is dope.

I really enjoyed Found.  I know these two albums seem to get tons of mixed reviews by ninjas... It's either you really liked it - or you didn't. Doesn't seem there's much middle ground for these 2.  I think Juggalo Party and Pineapple Pizza suck, the worst two songs on the album.  I think the song Found is fantastic, moving and one of the best they've done in a long time. Lost at the Carnival, and moreso The Midway, sound like some old school carnival ICP.  The Midway just reminds me of songs pre-Jeckel Brothers days.  It is a different direction but I think anyone would be fooling themselves if they didn't think Found was going to be positive and upbeat.  Part of it is, they've changed as they've gotten older. It's obvious they don't have that hate or rage they used to have.  But when you've been making music for as long as they have - there's always going to be changes.  And I can appreciate that. I would almost be disappointed if they tried to make every album sound like Riddlebox and Milenko.  I really like Found and think it's in a whole different class than Lost.   I don't think Lost sounds "wicked" at all.  It sounds like crap.  Give me the Phantom anyday of the week.

The outtakes are pretty good.  I love the Carousel and the lyrics to that song are awesome.  That song, The Dream and Immortal should have been on the albums....not the outtakes.

2. Lost

3. Found

I agree with a lot of this except that I liked Mr. White Suit more than other people. I like Ghetto Rainbows too. Shit.

I've been LOVING this second deck. I think bang! pow! boom! is good and love about half of it. When death pop came out I was worried I wouldn't feel it at all and I think it's as good as any other jokers card hands down, even milenko or ajb. Missing Link works, I think, on a lot of levels but I don't really love it. There's so many songs and some knock it out of the park and some don't.

Between songs from Phantom, The Outtakes, Lost, and Found, there's a 10/10 album in there but theres also about a 4/10 album in there too. And it's hard to really work it.

I was bumpin the song about J being molested as a kid today and I don't know why that shit wasn't put on lost. That shit, along with six pedophiles, is some of the best shit they have done IMO.

I can't put the albums in a list of best to worst.

I was making a playlist for a friend though and I came up with my perfect list of songs from all four of those albums that woulda made one kick ass jokers card (IMO).

  1. Lost intro (from outtakes)
  2. Apocalypse
  3. Joey the Butcher
  4. Phantom
  5. The Monster
  6. Shock
  7. Benapryl
  8. No More Jail
  9. Why'd I have to die?
  10. Vomit
  11. Found
  12. OK
  13. The Carousel
  14. Super Duper
  15. Let Loose
  16. Detroit Car Jackin
  17. The World Is Yours
  18. Found intro (from outtakes) as an outtro

I still think LOST is way better than FOUND. Despite what other ninjas say, "Vomit" and "Apocalypse" are awesome songs. "Flamethrower" is an absolute beast, and "How" is a track I think anyone can relate to. Hell, I even thought "Neighbors are Fighting" was pretty dope.

FOUND was... what it was. "Mr. White Suit" ranks right in there amongst "When I'm Clownin'", as one of the worst ICP songs ever. "Pineapple Pizza" was somewhat good, didn't care much for "Get Clowned". "OK" and "Found" were good, but the best song on FOUND is "Lost at the Carnival".

Either way, both Lost and Found haven't been in my CD player for awhile.

Since i posted my comments on this album ive noticed alot more fam admitting they like some of the positive shit. Im glad yall are vibing to something beautiful. U dont have to dig it since we all like different music, but u should never use hate to against something soo positve. If u dislike it thats kewl but dont bring down the good wit evil/hatred. We need to stop all the negative shit so we can be more happy as a collective consciousness. Im tired of seein fam startin fights wit fam at shows and fam makin others feel like shit for liking the new deck or certain songs. We need to start respecting each other's opinions and start being curious on y they like a certain song/album instead of picking on them like a bully and taking their happiness away from them.

The point im making is dont be afraid to be different, and dont spread negative vibes to someone who has diiferent interests than u.
