I think the biggest reason their positive shit shines through more nowadays is because ICP is just more positive in their own lives in general. They don’t seem to have that “Fuck the World” mentality anymore (which is not a bad thing) so they’re not going to make “Fuck the World” music. The positive/uplifting stuff most likely just comes to them easier now and they can very easily put the carnival spin on that. The wicked shit seems forced with ICP in this day and age which is not good for the music. That’s why I feel Lost was so out of place.

TMML is by far my favorite era of the new deck. I prefer Lost over Found but the title track to Found is probably one of the best songs they’ve ever released. And I’m not one for happy, shiny ICP either.

I think Lost has that fuck you, ICP rage I’ve been missing from them over the years and the beats are much darker than they’ve been in years (worth mentioning that House of Wax embodied this as well).

Could they have replaced songs from Found with some of the Outtakes? Yes. Dreams of Grandeur is the Juggalo Island/Ghetto Rainbows of TMML and I’m still confused why its on Found when he turns out to be a giant dick in the end. Mr. White Suit is cringeworthy. I wouldn’t touch the Outtakes though, I think it flows smoothly all the way through.

I agree with a lot of this except that I liked Mr. White Suit more than other people. I like Ghetto Rainbows too. Shit. 

I’ve been LOVING this second deck. I think bang! pow! boom! is good and love about half of it. When death pop came out I was worried I wouldn’t feel it at all and I think it’s as good as any other jokers card hands down, even milenko or ajb. Missing Link works, I think, on a lot of levels but I don’t really love it. There’s so many songs and some knock it out of the park and some don’t. 

Between songs from Phantom, The Outtakes, Lost, and Found, there’s a 10/10 album in there but theres also about a 4/10 album in there too. And it’s hard to really work it.

I was bumpin the song about J being molested as a kid today and I don’t know why that shit wasn’t put on lost. That shit, along with six pedophiles, is some of the best shit they have done IMO. 

I can’t put the albums in a list of best to worst. 

I was making a playlist for a friend though and I came up with my perfect list of songs from all four of those albums that woulda made one kick ass jokers card (IMO).

Six Pedophiles and The Monster are great, dark songs that would’ve worked on Lost. I really wouldn’t touch Lost or the Outtakes though. I love both of them … one a bit more.

I will add, based off all the LPs and EPs they’ve released in the past year, I’m excited for the next jokers card. 

So after not listening to Lost/Found for awhile, I threw them back into the CD player last night and gave both another spin. I still like Lost alot more than Found.

Mr. White suit is my favorite song on that album. I would love a whole album of tracks like that

Interesting. I prefer Lost more as an album, but I find myself listening to Found more often. The main reason I like found is because it puts me in a great mood. Lost I like more because it was a big more deep and serious plus a nice return to darker material.

originally they said they were planning “several” videos for each. I think (hopefully) they’re going to drag this jokers card era out kinda slow burn style and let us get a bit of this and that as we go.
