I’d have to say those 3 juggalos are wrong.

you probably one of those Juggalos that hasn’t like anything since hells pit. And are is never happy.

You’d be wrong in that assumption. It just isn’t scarier than Hells Pit.

Yea I don’t think this is as “scary” as hells pit. Hells pit was a classic, the new icp won’t ever top that. This isn’t even anywhere near as close as hells pit.

I agree its definitely not scarier than Hell’s Pit (or any of their other spookier projects)…to me its more angry than scary….there’s a lot of anger and very little humor (although its ICP so they’re always funny to an extent lol) but I really didn’t get a sense of spookiness or being afraid so not sure what they were getting at with that…if they meant that its a serious album that’s more understandable but Take It Out On Me was scarier than basically everything on here

it’s definitely a different sound for them as far as a Jokers Card…the production has a lot to do with it but also the subject matter and the way they chose to go about it was just different from their normal style…there’s definitely some laziness from both of them in the verses and the choruses…say what u will about Young Wicked but I thought his choruses were some of the better ones on here tbh as well as his background vocals on others…just glad he wasn’t a surprise rapper on every song like KJC lol (he killed it on there though)

Yeah, I was pretty happy to find out there wasn’t really any features or skits to be found on here.

As I said, it’s not scary (hell, I don’t even think Hells Pit is scary) but I’d agree it’s more of a serious tone and not a lot of humor to be found on here.

Speaking of “Take It Out On Me” I’d say if I made my own mix with some of the songs I didn’t love on here and replace them with songs from “House of Wax” it’d be fantastic.

Sidenote: scariest song by them is “Mental Warp”

agreed but considering its only 14 songs you could just as easily add a few songs in without replacing any either…but yeah there were definitely some strong ones on House of Wax…the song with YW and Hoodoo is my shit as well as Two Shot and Take it Out On Me…those songs weren’t very humorous either (aside from laughing at “a hyena, leopard, or lion!!!”) and could have fit on this album really well…324 also

interested in hearing how Found turns out now since they said it’d be the opposite of Lost basically and be more along the line of their usual stuff

I’d still likely lose the three tracks I’ve been hating on and add in 324, Two Shot and Take it Out on Me.

Well, I’m hoping the clip at the end of I see the Devil isn’t a taste of what’s to come on Found, that’s a little too light and fluffy.

See, to me Hell’s Pit isn’t scary at all and it’s one of my least favortie albums from them.

I know we bitch about MEC’s beat selections at times, But, you can’t deny his ability to produce a solid cohesive album.         My main gripe, as with a lot of people about this album, is it really sounds ameturish sonically.                                           These songs sound like a kid off of sound-cloud created them. What people fail to understand                                                   is the difference between a Producer and someone who just mashes random noises together.                                                     J and Shaggs lyrics are on point but no one was really telling them ” Hey you might wanna re-do that last line.”.                       Or put a bridge here and really structure a song. Worst hooks ever on a jokers card..they really phoned it in.                               Its like a ICP vs DJ Snake record. What happened from House of Wax to this?                                                                                   The title track is really unbearable. Flamethrower, Intro and Apocalypse are above average at best…

I’m with ya on that. That and “12” of course. Never thought of “Mental Warp” as scary, more along the lines of just different/odd.

No, I don’t think it’s scary either, moreso angry.

Sounded solid and cohesive to me. Some people like to nit-pick everything apart and that’s fine but for me, as long as I can relate to it and it doesn’t sound absolutely terrible I’m good with it. I personally found House of Wax to be mostly blah, with a couple good songs and a couple really, really bad songs.
