I’ll be getting it on the first week of release at some point from my local FYE (I kinda stopped fucking with HG given the ridiculous shipping charges they seem to have implemented over the past few years).
I definitely like to give the album its due and listen without interuption a few times the whole way through. Maybe burn down on a little somethin maybe not. Depends on how I feel at the time. I probably won’t be on here for a few days because I know how it always goes after an ICP release. Shit always gets blown out of proportion from both a good and bad standpoint. I’ve been guilty of that myself in the past.
As I said in a previous thread I will wait 6 months to a year to give a review on the record.

The past couple ICP albums that came out I’ve had the same two people over to listen with me. Buy Faygo, grill some grub, get high, turn off phones and play the album from beginning to end. Been doing it for awhile now. This year, one of my old buddies that kind of strayed away from ICP for a bit is coming over to listen because he’s been getting back into em.Point being, does anyone have any plans for this album or do you do anything specific/special for releases? I don’t know why but playing the new ICP album in the background while I answer emails or some shit wouldn’t feel right.
I normally try the best I can to get it on the day of release. Then just sit in my room and play it front to back (best time to play a full album with no interruptions is in the morning when no one is awake and there ain’t shit to do.)
I did the same with Death Pop.
For BPB, I was in 5th grade, so I didn’t really care as much (I liked things I was familiar with). But I got it, and listened to a couple songs before I wanted to do something else. But going to the concert in October, that got me more into the songs on the album, because they played it.

I like to get stoned before i bump a new album for the first time. Then play the album front to back a few times until my high wears off. To me it feels like a celebration of welcoming the new album into my CD collection. Weed makes everything better what can i say? :)

I kind of assumed “Vomit” was going to be the weakest track on here but unfortunately that wasn’t the case. It’s still one of the weaker tracks on the album but not as bad as “Explosions”, “I’ll Keep My Hatchet” and “Neighbors are Fighting” and sadly those three tracks are in a row. I honestly don’t know much about who produced the beats on this thing but the little I know about Young Wicked, I’d assume he was behind those three songs.
After one listen through I think “Lost”, “Apocalypse”, and “Confederate Flag” are the highlights on here. I really like “How” except I’m not digging the hook all that much.
I feel like I said too many negative things in this little review but overall I really did enjoy the album. I’d have to say this is their most “wicked” album since “Hells Pit”.

I’m on the confederate flag song and so far this is the only track I like.. it actually sounds like an icp beat. the verses are good as fuck (some lines are cheesy as hell) but for the most part the choruses suck really bad and are lazy so far and the beats are meh.
I really only feel like confederate flag is the best they have so far. Really disappointed so far.

Whoever did falling apart… this shit is fucking dope. I dig the fuck out of this song. the beat is good as fuck. lost & apocalypse are the ones I don’t like so far. Explosions beat is my shit I really like this sound for em.
I really fucking hate young wicked singing on all these tracks. Really does sound like J / Shaggy got lazy as fuck on the choruses and had nothing for em so just had wicked sing

I reviewed the songs as they played. I didn’t wanna reveal too much so they reviews are simple.
>Intro
Repeats “The Marvelous Missing Link” then J says some fresh shit over a frsh beat”
10/10
>Lost
Sick ass beat and J sounds beast. Real heavy feeling. Shaggs on the main part of the chorus. Shaggy goes hard of course. Some real fresh shit. They rap about finding your missing link.
9/10
>ApoclypSe
Starts off with a preacher talker. A song about the end of days obviously. Yw on the background vocals. (I think) Deff a banger! They are going all out so far.
9.5/10
>Shock
Has a MDP and Hells Pit feeling. Kinda reminds me of Killjoy Club. It’s a goo 8/10
>Confederate flag
Starts off with a redneck talking. J just kills the first verse. The chourous is amazing. Shaggy kills it also. Heavy ass beat. Holy shit this is a banger. Longest track so far. Has a real old school vibe.
11/10 (yes its that good)
>Vomit
We all hears this. Fits right in. Has that same dark vibe as the other tracks.
8/10
>Falling Apart
Starts off with a somber guitar. J starts talking. Someone singing on the chorus. J? J raps the second verse as well. He’s litterally falling apart. Like limbs and shit.
9/10
>How
Starts with shaggy rapping. Similar beat as Falling Apart kinda. They rap on real life shit. Someones singimg on the chorus.
Nice song
7.5/10
>Exlposions
Heavier beat. Kinda dubsteppy in the best way. Starts with J rapping. This is some shit I’d listen to before beating some ass. Young wicked on the chorus I think.
9/10
>I’ll keep my hatchet
Similar beat to Explosions. Angry chorous. Another banger track. I like this chorus. The lyrics are dope as hell.
8/10
>Neighbors are fighting
Beat is kinda similar to the last. The lyrics on this album have been amazing. Another cut throat track. Chorus is the track name. Ends with movie snippet.
8.5/10
>You Should Know
Starts off with a little soulful singing then J raps. A wicked love song. Chorus is the same singing as the beginning. A J only track
9/10
>Flamethrower
Starts off with a heavy synth sound. J amd shaggs rapping about the killin fuckers. Chorus is like the start of the song. Pretty hard track. Slowerish rapping. Straight first six style except for the beats. I noticed they are using a lot of synthy kinda beat and I like it.
10/10
>I see the devil
Ominous beat at first. Starts off with J rapping. SHAGGS raps on the same verse like last time. Singing on the chorus. Kinda reminds me of a darker London Grammar chorus in a strange way. Has some sexy piano in it. After the song you hear J singing. Feels happy
8/10
All in all I give this album a strong 9/10. It’s the best shit they put out in years. It has a great dark feel to it and you can tell it has a lot of emotion to it.
Pick this bad boy up.
