But does it come with the hologram cover?Good question! The Amazon one does not mention it being that. I ordered mine through HatchetGear so I know mine will have the holo cover.
From HG:
The pre-order version of this album will come packaged in a special 3D hologram cover that will NOT BE AVAILABLE IN STORES OR TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC! The only way to get this special limited edition version of “The Marvelous Missing Link (Lost)” is to pre-order the album from Hatchet Gear before the general release date of April 28, 2015.

That interview in the new Hatchet Herald took me back to when Violent J use to hype albums. It was perfect. Maximum hype level achieved. Oh, and Kuma, Mike P., Otis & Se7en? That’s fresh. I’m one the biggest Mike E. Clark fans around and I think it’s pretty dope that they’re giving the other psychopathic producers a chance to shine on a joker’s card. Plus I’ve always wanted Se7en to produce some ICP tracks then after Killjoy Club I knew it was just around the corner and now it’s happening! Awesome news. I can’t wait for next month. 3rd card of the 2nd deck. A clown in an iron mask and chains. Fuck, ICP is so fucking cool.

Yeah I can’t wait to hear the new music from these other ninjas! They are all wicked producers in my opinion. I like MEC as well but I’m looking forward to something different. April is going to be all about Mortal Kombat X and The Missing Link for me!
Oh and thank fuck for Amazon cause Hatchetgear’s price to ship to Australia was over $40 including shipping. Fuck that!

I’m excited, but also a little worried about “The Missing Link” @this point.
There is alot of encouraging news making it seem like this album might actually be one of their best in quite some time, but it could also jump the shark awfully quick. I’m still among the crowd w/high expectations for TML, but here are my concerns.
1)The religious connotations could push this album over the edge of “preachy/corny” icp. Hopefully, they take a approach of a middle ground, questioning things and speaking from an open-minded standpoint. But knowing icp, they could take the approach of “god=good, atheist=bad” and pretty much just spend the whole album making it like those w/o religious beliefs are lacking in some way and missing out on the wonders of this mythical being. Knowing J, this could very well be the approach he takes & it will make for a painful listening experience that will potentially turn off alot of core fans (myself included). I’m all for ones own beliefs & dont mind their religious shit creeping in here&there, but a whole album of that shit mixed w/ a close-minded, childish view of atheism?…thats when i see myself out.
2)No mike e. clark. Alot of fans seem to think its great that mike isnt involved in TML…I am not one of them. All of icp’s best material has been w/mike. Their music just hits on a different level when mike is involved. If you look back @their career, whenever he has gone away his absence has left a giant hole (imo) It single handely ruined the 6th jokers card & i am hoping this one doesn’t share that fate. The actual sound quality/mixing/mastering also always seems to suffer when mike isn’t around…the balancing & overall “crispness” is usually lacking when they’ve put out projects w/o M.E.C, i hope (& expect) them to go out of their way to make sure that isn’t the case w/this one. Getting seven to produce will surely help fill the void, if anyone can keep icp on the MEC level, he would be the guy. Unfortunately it seems he will only be doing a few tracks, rather than the entire project.
3)According to J, the guy from ax murder boys that they have been bringing around w/them everywhere is going to be heavily involved w/TML…that’s just unfortunate. There is no positive to take out of that. Hopefully it will be subtle and not as severe as J made it sound, but this dude’s presence could suck some life out of the project.

I have no complaints with Otis for real. His production on all the AMB cd’s that he’s done has been stellar. Especially god’s hand. I was very impressed with that. I HATED them as rappers when they first were starting out doing the whole juggalo gimmick shit but honestly, these dudes have proven thereself. Otis has dedication man, he freaked the fuck outta the shit he’s been doing. I enjoyed his shit on Killjoy club I actually thought he was one of the few that tried the hardest. This album is already sounding like I will enjoy it.
We have Seven, Kuma, Mike P, and Young wicked doing tracks. I’m gonna get alot of hate but I really don’t like kuma & icp’s music together lol. I just never really have. He always did remixes for ICP songs and I hated them. Mike P I know i’m going to fucking enjoy though I LOVED hells pit, shangrila, and wizard of the hood so I can only imagine what they did together. I have high hopes for this album.
I haven’t had this much anticipation since MEC came back to be honest. Everything with MEC has been kinda meh to me For what the albums were with clark, they were alright but I just think MEC lost his touch with ICP. I’m not hating on clark because I still do enjoy some songs off the MDP and BPB and what not it’s just whatever reason the styles them 2 went for together just wasn’t fitting too well. In my mind before mike P got booted or left psy, he was doing great with psy. They were on the right track so this is the test. And all of us here have been saying for years we wanted to hear seven do a joker card beat and we got one (or more) coming…. I think we’re in for a wild ride.
All that bitching and whining alot of “old school” juggalos did with the beats and styles, I think J finally listened.
