i doubt it will take that long, as of late when it comes to pre orders for new albums they have been on point with getting them there on time or early(with the exception of hallowicked and the box set), boondox,amb,killjoy,lotus all showed up the saturday before release for me(lotus was actually a few days earlier then that)

I wish they would at least mention the style of the music. Like how j admitted he was going for surfer music for bang pow boom. I would be really happy if they went for an old school house sound but I’m sure they won’t do that. They might if shaggy took the lead on a card….which I hope to happen before the six is up.

i wouldn’t be surprised to see the new album pushed back…also wouldn’t be surprised to see everything fall into place cause its still plenty of time away.im really interested to hear where icp takes this one…hoping for the best, if the worst case scenario is 2 albums to the level/quality of bang pow boom & death pop, i can live with that.
its interesting to see them going out of their way to release it as 2 joker cards in one…reason would have to be either 1)money motivated based on trying to get as many album sales as possible before record sales dry up completely or 2)J hit some kind of creative streak and went on a tear of new songs up to the joker card level…i’d like to believe its the latter but time shall tell

I think it’s the latter too. If it was the former we would be seeing them all over the internet and on George Lopez or whatever the fuck that was. They’re not doing that. They’re SO not doing that that Juggalos are questioning why there aren’t promoting it at all. Maybe Twiztid leaving and Psychopathic downsizing was enough to push them into hyper mode?

I don’t know if it’s just me, but I ussualy don’t like samplers for big albums. I like to be surprised.
I will admit. When the BPB sampler was at Hottopic, I ran my ass over there and picked up a few. I guess I wanted the ninja tool lol

on the whole, i agree. samplers and early release singles dont make me any more excited about an album, but they do occasionally give me unfounded expectations. which can cut both ways.
that said, i still mostly listen to em, for some reason.

but at the same time, it affected my outlook on what to expect [by giving me something to expect in the first place].

Ive always enjoyed samplers. It kinda gets me in the spirit and helps set the mood for the beginning of the new era. I also watch movie previews and taste my food before finishing the plate. When i used to smoke budz, id smell, then toke..

I liked the bpb sampler. I still got mine from when I was at the gotj 09.
I liked the krimson creek sampler too.
I’m happy mec isn’t producing these albums. Time for a change.
