Go for it. Tattoos, decals, all that shit? If you don't like the design, definitely don't do it. I choose to believe the maskless version is the actual face. Just like Riddlebox is usually depicted without the actual box, Jeckel Bros. depicted without the candle, and Death Pop is depicted without the "WC" hand gesture.
Indeed I like your thoughts on that.
I remember when the Wraith was revealed and I thought it was kind of whack that it was everything except a face. Turns out they're my favorite albums of all time and now I love the logo like I drew it myself. So who knows how anyone will feel once the album drops.

I guess everyone forgot the post of when Psy revealed who Randy Gall actually was...?
Nope, nobody forgot. I think OCJ had it figured out first though.
Nah credit is given to Scruffy on that one. I just outted him first.
I used to despise Randy but he grows on you...now I love his posts.

Except for around 2010 when he released The Gates Mixed Plate. That was a small moment in time when he was not the epitome of a dope rapper in my opinion.Really I liked Gates Mixed Plate alot. To each their own I suppose.
I would agree with Lucem, I think everything after evverready has been meh. His problem is he releases way too much shit to keep up with. Doesn't keep my attention for long. He needs to slow it down or do ep's or some shit. Ep's would be cooler than actual albums.

Don't get me wrong, my liking or not liking the artwork is NO comment on the content of the forthcoming album. Just as what has already been said, when it comes down to a purchase of a shirt or a poster etc, I will NEVER be buying (Lost). (Found) looks alright though.
And as was previously said, all the previous Jokers are SO fuckin' iconic and SO graphic with its lines and symmetry (even the Wraith despite (like I've said before) the fact they totally broke the cypher of Jokers *faces with it) that I just feel like (Lost) is "beneath" the level of quality they've put out there. I mean, c'mon! BPB is an amazing logo (always reminds me of the electric gremlin from Gremlins 2)... put the BPB face next to this (Lost) thing and tell me which one looks more dynamic and exciting... and for that matter, professional.
Again, none of this means ANYthing about what might be on the album or whether or not I'm gonna get *it but when comes to shirts, posters, cards, keychains, charms, lighters et al... I won't be spending a dime on that image. And gawd help the poor sap that feels compelled to TATTOO every one of the cards on them that would need to include that image... not saying that it can't be improved but it seems like they're stickin' with that one.

Agree bout sticks and shit. I don't buy anything from hatchetgear anyways anymore. One, they take forever, two i'm almost pushing 30. Too old for that shit. I wear regular clothes now lol. Plus I had like 20+ PSY merch in like 06-07 and it got thrown out, so i'll never rebuild and the new shit is too lame to wear.
One thing i've always enjoyed about ICP is despite whatever design they go with, you can never picture what it's going to sound like. Every album has it's own defining sound. That's what intrigues me the most. BPB to MDP is a huge difference IMO. (not a diff I like) but still a diff. I just hope for all sake they go back to there roots for this album. If you listen to everything from the riddlebox up until bizaar it all had a certain sound. And I don't know exactly how to explain what they got going. Maybe overproduced shit? I'm not sure. I think that's why I liked the tempest, it wasn't overly produced like crazy. Reminded me of old school ICP for once. These new ones don't.

30? You're still young! I'm in my mid 40's. Still wear HG merch. Those are my regular clothes. I also still paint my face. Even when I'm 60 I'll still be painting my face. Don't ever think you are too old for something, it's nothing more than a self imposed restriction. Keep your mind young. :)

I always get the classic style Joker Card shirt but I'm not a fan of most of the other designs they have. Wish they had more lightweight shirts with subtle designs on them.

I like the concept of the cards, and the lyrics don't even bother me, it's the production. When I say back to their roots, I don't mean 100% wicked shit. I'm fine with what they do now, I just don't want this over produced stuff anymore. The tempst was a prime example of what they should sound like. The tempest's sounds is a complete 360 from MDP and BPB. Play my song, what about now, mexico city, growing again, haunted bumps, all dope.

ICP's worst enemy is their fan base that doesn't know what they want.
It's like Nintendo fans. Give us this! Give us this! Back to the roots!
*Nintendo does it*
Rehashed shit! We want new stuff!
*Nintendo does it*
Not gonna buy it, we want the classics!
What would it even mean for ICP to go "back to their roots"? No more guitars? Less production? ICP's whole thing is big production and theatrics.
People want them to go "back to their roots" and then bitch that they "make new joker cards for more money" "Joker cards are sacred, how could they??!?"
Like, Jesus Christ, reading some of these comments is so frustrating. Between these forums and Facebook and Twitter... everyone knows what ICP should do next, what's best for them. No, keeping your style the same for 30 years is NOT a good idea. It's just not. You will be considered a one-trick pony. They did low-budget circus shit. Now they're doing this. Love it or hate it, you need to realize that this is it. If it was so easy to do, go read the comments when some juggalo tries to do it himself and posts the results here.
Now can we please get excited for this shit instead of lamenting the good ole' days where ICP never cared about money (you know, when they received one million dollars to work for Disney). Let's discuss these dismal times of greedy sold-out ICP(where ICP has their own studios, producers, and does everything exactly how they want to and sell it directly to you for usually less than $10/CD)?
That is it.
It strikes me that the whole idea of scrutinizing everything ICP do and trying to make judgments about every little thing is really missing the point. ICP are not about making sure every single detail is perfectly on point- it wouldn't be ICP if they approached it like that and you kinda have to just shut the fuck up and go along for the ride to some extent. I mean, Chicken Huntin is indisputably a fucking classic, and it has the line: "I say mista mista what the fuck you tryin to do? Bananamp bow banampbanamp bow!" Should we all sit around and bitch about Shags couldn't even think up a rhyme there and how much better Chicken Huntin would be if he could have? Fuck the fuck no, it's Chicken Huntin!

well, when you're a long time fan, yeah you're going to bitch. It's not even the lyrics I hate it's just the synths. MEC has started doing these synth's since (no pun intended) BPB. It's time to switch it up. The sound itself is getting repetitive. I wish I could explain to you guys on how i'd like this to come out but it's like impossible. For what they were, bpb and mdp were "alright" lyric wise, they were on point. I have no complaints there. It's just the damn music. When I first heard bpb it was like alright this is cool, but after a few songs the synths got old. Real old. And he continued that on MDP. As long as TML doesn't have it i think it'll be alright. Those synths do a complete 360 on their music I don't even think you guys understand. I have long time friends that were die hard about this shit (and still lsiten to it) but hate the production too. To you guys that have tempest, put that in then put BPB. You'll see the difference. I liked what they were doing with tempest.
Oh well, for what it's worth i'm excited to hear it finally. Hopefully we get a track at big ballas or something, that'd be cool.

i get the impression you dont really know what 'synth' means.
at any rate, its all blather, really. i mean, all the rocky guitar crap that mec is so fond of dropping all over his stuff tends to annoy me; yet somehow, amazingly, i still manage to enjoy the shit. usually... there are a few exceptions.
either way, i take it as its offered; no need for me to provide consumer feedback months before the album is released.
awfully paranoid, arent you?

Really? The Tempest? I've been listening to em for 20 years and that's easily my least favorite full length album they've done (and it has nothing to do with it not being a joker's card). And personally the only ones that stand out as clearly better than BPB and MDP are Riddlebox and Milenko. I'd say Ringmaster, AJB and Shangrila are about even with the new cards.

To each own I guess but I would never say bpb or mdp are better than any of the first set. You can't compare them. The 1st set was badass. This one has it's own elements that make it cool.
Maybe synths was the wrong word to pick it's more happyish sounding i guess, or "odd" sounding. It just doesn't sound like icp beats to me. Take that for what it is but it really don't. Mdp had some really fucking weird tracks. Ghetto rainbows and night of the chainsaw really gave me an icp vibe. If more of the cd sounded like that, woulda been dope.

I think Lost & Found will be the shit. I'm digging the covers for them, even though I'm a little bit more of a fan for Found's image. But from what I can see, Lost is just Found in a mask which IMO is a metaphor perhaps for repressed feelings, anger maybe? And then TML being unmasked on Found will probably be dope as fuck, with aggressive beats and lyrics. I'm stoked. I think this will be fresh. Whoops x2

The 1st set was badass but to me Riddlebox and Milenko stand out as the only exceptional pieces of work. Those two I can listen to start to finish without wanting to skip a quarter or more of the songs. The rest of the cards, like BPB and MDP, all have a number of stand out tracks but also a good deal of filler. I'd put the best of the new cards (Night of the Chainsaw, Juggalo Juice, Bang Pow Boom, In Yo Face, etc.) right up there with the best songs off the old cards.
