Tech only got 1 album out this year, surprised that we haven't heard much about Special Effects for a few months now. But maybe people can stop bitching about him releasing too much music now.

After Something Else I could care less about new Tech. He's still the most talented rapper I've ever heard but his music has changed. I hope he proves me wrong but I've seen a decline on each release since Absolute Power.

I thought Something Else from tech n9ne was dope. Showed his versatility imo. Straight out the gate was dope as fuck. Tech's best cd has got to be evverready tho, that shit is dope from beginning to end. I remember hearing about right before absolute power released, I bought the cd brought it to school and everybody was like this dude fucking sucks hes a juggalo blah blah blah and now everybody listens to him lol and AP is one of their favorite cds.

 

My opinion is Seven is doing way too much, he's like the mec of strange music they have way too many projects they're having him do which sucks. Because most of the time now his beats are hit or miss. I'm excited to hear this new icp ep in the boxset, hopefully it leaks friday. And I hope all the joker cards are remastered for the boxset, that would be dope. Instead of just releasing with the same quality.

Man tech schools so many rappers. I wish he'd go back to his old style tho but his new shit is still dope. He's so versatile regardless of what anyone says and the record sales say it all!

Except for around 2010 when he released The Gates Mixed Plate. That was a small moment in time when he was not the epitome of a dope rapper in my opinion.

Really I liked Gates Mixed Plate alot.  To each their own I suppose.

I hate to agree with this. The Lost face still hasn't grown on me either. 

And I get it. A dope drawing WON'T make the album sounds good. And, no you shouldn't judge an album by its cover. 

HOWEVER. This is an ICP album. A Jokers Card. Which means the image is extremely important. It's what's gonna be the face of this new era. It's gonna be on every T shirt, ball cap, bandana, fuckin gym shorts and dickies. They put the Death Pop on EVERYTHING. Because that's what they do with Jokers Cards. So if you don't like the face of the upcoming era, it's reasonable to be a little put off by it.  Luckily I do think the Found face is fresh, but not everyone agrees with me on that.
