not so friendly reminder that the police successfully argued in federal court that they have no duty to protect you, or anyone else. Their job is to arrest suspect, and investigate crimes. that's it. they can stand around outside a school while a dozen and a half elementary children get shot and murdered - while sending cops in to save THEIR OWN CHILDREN - because they have fought long, and hard, spending tax payer money in the courts, to affirm that they don't give a fuck about you.

and the "pro-life" "anti-crime" republican party backs them up on this. because they don't give a fuck about you either.

Been hanging out with some people from work; we hit up diners after work on our Fridays every now and then, last Saturday we played DnD for a few hours, and I play magic with a few of them whenever we can and are in the mood. So that's been chill.

I'm moving departments too, taking next week off, then when I get back going to a new area.

Birthdays on the 11th, and I got a friend moving in with me from NC, going to start dating once she's here. So that'll be super dope.

Over all? Things are going fucking great.

And now I'm laughing my ass off at that thin skinned faggot smack needing trigger warnings and a safe space.

Been working and chilling. The kids are done with school so my days off with them are spent finding a new hiking spot usually. 

Speaking of turtles, they finally released a direct sequel to the awesome TMNT Turtles in Time, and I copped it for the Switch the other day. Only got to play it a bit, but it seems about as good as the original. Anyone else check it out?

Then Nintendo offered a 5 day trial of Stardew Valley... and got us into it. Nice marketing strategy. We bought it.

At work, lots of work and thr boat shuttles are picking up. Got so many cash tips the other day that I'm pretty sure one bill flew out of my pocket during a sudden wind change. Ah well.
