You guys need to realize most of the awful cops are federally trained assholes, whereas the decent cops usually aren’t federally trained dicks who feel they are above the law.  In fact you can tell the difference between a federal cop and a normal one by the way they act.

Truth. And EBT is actually good for our economy. For every dollar spent for food using EBT, approximately $1.82 is generated. I think it was .82 or .84, but either way, that’s a boon. The reason is because those on EBT that couldn’t afford to purchase the extra food now can, instead of not using the money at all to put into the economy. I’m guessing this is one of the reasons the program, while flawed (I disagree that people can purchase energy drinks, sodas, other nutrition-deficient items) is always around.

At my grocery store there are limits on what you can buy with EBT.  We also never let people return product for anything else but more product when their receipt uses EBT.  There are several easy fraud tricks I encounter daily.  One is people buying meat and shit with their card and then returning it with an older receipt for the same shit paid in cash even though there’s absolutely no way the meat would have the much more recent experiation date with the old ass receipt (they prolly do it a ton of times).  Another is selling the card for half its value in cash.  I know a dealer who loves EBT cards cuz he has like five kids and feeding them is expensive.

Im also pro taxing religious buildings.
