thats a little misleading. there were over 200 arrests, and 150 car fires not including home and business fires.

Anyone who watched anything last night knows there were 2 events

the protests, which were wonderful and well covered early in the day

 and the riots, which kicked in later, after the protests and there were thousands involved throwing rocks looting and setting fires.

nothing that happened justified what these animals did last night. nothing. Did the business owners that lost their livelyhood kill that poor man??? did the elderly people who had their almost finished homes burned down do anything to deserve it???? NO!!! so what gives these scumbags the right to take from innocent people???

the reason the cops didnt do anything is because the mayor told the cops to stand down, and encouraged the looters by telling everyone that she told the cops to stand down.

She flat out told them to “give them a place to destroy”.  And then backpedaled and said that isn’t what she meant and I believe she even referred to those that “misinterpreted” her words as “ignorant”.  Fuck that cunt.  She said what she said, it caused mayhem because of it, and she should be charged with inciting a riot.  If she doesn’t lose her position as Mayor, I think that’s worth protesting over.

Jello Biafra (former lead singer of Dead Kennedys) wrote the song “Riot” about this same situation back in 1980. Its lyrics say “Tomorrow you’re homeless. Tonight it’s a blast.” demonstrating how the law sometimes lets rioters “blow off steam as long as they’re destroying their own neighborhoods.” Punk History:

I love Jello Biafra, but I am slightly offended — or perturbed, rather — that you had to add that he was the lead singer of Dead Kennedys.  Granted, I’m not upset with you for doing so; rather I’m upset that someone wouldn’t know that.  SHAME ON THEM for not knowing who Jello is.  And while I don’t agree with him 100% on everything, I agree with him quite a bit.

Off topic slightly, but isn’t it insane that he wrote California Uber Alles about Governor Jerry Brown and that sack of shit is still in fucking office?  Fuck that cunt.

Any of yall been to Baltimore recently at all?  I have its a nice inner harbor all the indigenous citizens can look at from behind barricades and police cars there to keep tourists safe from them.  If anyone unkempt enough wanders into that area they are body checked back out of it and if they don’t comply they are whisked away for a bit and come right back.  Id riot too if thats where I lived and had to deal with.  If I was an underpaid overworked cop in Baltimore id be frustrated too…probably enough to manhandle a few less fortunates I encountered later in my shift.  Both sides are dumb but this situation is far from astonishing.

Only thing Im sad about is that im too white to go riot and get some free shit.  I loves me some anarchy.  I dont go too far off the beaten path in Bmore without a few of the homies in tow…And even then I still get that “Whats that whiteboy got that he needs several large black men with him outside the inner harbor in Baltimore”  The answer is simple Sherman:  Large quantities of narcotics and womens underwear…well one of those at least.  Really the point is theres no way for me to not stand out in Baltimore…so I limit my time there.

As long as there are riots that I can gain from IDK if the dead guy is blue….MORE RIOTS!!!!!!
