Minnesota hip hop trio, Team Bad Decision, recently released their album Project Mayhem and we were lucky enough to get our hands on it. Team Bad Decision consists of Mereness formerly of Playaz Lounge Crew, TipZ and Miss Tress. Project Mayhem contains 8 tracks of super freshness for your face.

The album contains several standout tracks and even the Godfather of the Wicked Shit, the man, the myth, the legend, Esham makes an appearance.  Hopefully soon when one thinks of Minnesota it will start to be known as a burgeoning underground hip hop community instead of just the major exports of cold ass weather and the Mall of America.  Below is the full track list for the album

  1. Explicit Content
  2. Go
  3. MN Nice
  4. Get Ya Some
  5. 2 Days
  6. Hudson Rd. Strangler (Skit)
  7. Take Two (ft. Esham)
  8. Enterprise

Project Mayhem has several notable tracks. One of those is the album opener Explicit Content. It goes hard right off the rip and sets the tone for the rest of the album. Another noteworthy track is MN Nice which shows some love for Team Bad Decisions Minnesota roots. MN Nice is a solo track with just Miss Tress which showcases her flow abilities.

Another mentionable track is Take Two which features Esham.  It’s nice to see the veterans of the game willing to lend their skills to some fresh voices in the underground scene. But, with that being said, even without the inclusion of Esham, Project Mayhem is good enough to stand on its own.

In the end Project Mayhem is a good album, homies do not sleep on it. I see good things in Team Bad Decision’s future and I look forward to hearing what other freshness Mereness, TipZ and Miss Tress have up their sleeves.
