Brace yourselves because the charismatic rock and roll rebel Kim Nekroman. After spending a few years as backing vocalist and lead guitarists for his wife Patrica Day and her band HorrorPops slaps the dust off his legendary coffin bass and unleashes the Grammy nominated Danish Psychobilly band Nekromantix back to the unsuspecting music world once again with their latest release “What Happens In Hell, Stays In Hell.

Before we go further. Alot has happened with Nekromantix since their last release back in 2007. A shuffle with new guitarist Francisco Mesa and the addition of the first female member of the group. New drummer by the name of Lux to replace the late Andy DeMize who was tragically killed in January of 2009 in a in an automobile collision (the album is dedicated to DeMize’s memory). I only heard 2 songs from this band to be honest (A live version of Vampires over Copenhagen from the Give Em The Boot DVD and a song called Horny In A Hearse.). The album is a mix of horror punk, extreme psychobilly, hardcore punk, and a lil bit of the Wicked Shit.

I like alot of this record so far after listening to it a few times (winamp crashed alot on it so I resorted to good ol’ Windows Media Player!). I’m really digging “Nekrotastic Extasy”. It’s one of those songs you would hear if you walked into a BDSM club *smirks*. I just really dig the feel of the song. The other song I really dig is “Demonspeed”. It’s just fast, it’s heavy, it’s sick, and god damn it’s just heavy as hell!. Another song is the title track “What happens in Hell, Stays in Hell”. I just love the lyrics and the guitar solo on this song. It’s perfect. For those who’s girl was going ga-ga a few years back over katy perry’s “I kissed a girl” now have their version (and a much better version) to brag about to your girl and go “WHUT!” The song’s called “I kissed a Ghoul”. It’s got a heavy metal style break in the song to close the song. The last song I really like is a song I know for fact would be a song I can so see a guy we all know named Jamie Madrox bump on Wfuckoff. It’s a tribute to a legendary horror movie icon named Bela Lugosi (best known as the original Count Dracula for the 1931 horror flick Dracula). The song’s called “Bela Lougisi’s Star”. It’s a great tribute for one of the first horror movie icons. The last “vocal” track “Monsterbait” is a striaght up horror-style song with the typical horror lyrics of serial killers, murder, mayhem, and violence that comes from the horror genre. Gotta love it. It’s got a great guitar riff and the smoothest upright bass riff’s Nekroman has ever played. Top notch there. The last track “Trickaedekaphobia” is just a instrumental song. It’s a nice instrumental if there’s anybody who is into that stuff. Personally I love songs that are just instrumentals to be honest. It gives you an inner working of the music behind the lyrics on a big level.

All in all Nekromantix in my eyes is “Juggalo-approved”. The style they bring to the dance of music is something scary and different for everybody who is into good ol’ fashioned dark music. After hearing an entire album by this band. I’m now impressed and am now a fan of this band and I strongly recommend this to everybody who reads this review! Five Motherfucking Stars of Psychobilly Wickedness in your eardrums, thru your braincells, down thru your lungs and heart, past your liver and kidneys, and straight out of your soul leaving the uncontrollable urge to scream “HELL YEAH MUTHA FACKU!” Big Baby Sweets style!
