They’re back! Judging by your decision to come to this site, much less read my review, you’re just as excited as I am. Being that they’ve been gone for such a long time and how their sound has changed little by little and influenced by the era in small amounts, I’m almost skeptical about what I’m about to hear. Almost… Play Track 1.

1. Intro
The intro describes, in essence, who the newest carnival entity is in great detail but I won’t spoil it for you. I’ve still yet to decipher whether it’s one single character with 3 forms or 3 separate entirely like the Jeckel Brothers. Either way I approve, they obviously put in a good amount of time and effort into creating it. Also, who the hell is speaking here? Because they’re perfect! They have such a great foreboding tone that it gave me chills from the bottom of my spine all the way to these Skullcandy earbuds. It’s the perfect way to start an album in my opinion.

Track 2
Ok here’s the deal. Each album came out with its own second track so here they all are separately with their own ratings.

2. Freaky Creep Show (Red Version)
It begins with what seems to sound like a voodoo priestess or something of that sort with a language I can only decipher as foreign, as well as a nice drum pattern that sounds just as dark and carnival-esque as anything I would expect from these two. The best way I can describe it is, like they took the lyrical style they used on Alley Rat from the Tempest and slapped it molded it into a MUCH better song with a fantastic hook and strong chorus. I’ll remember this song when Halloween comes around.
5/5

2. The Clowns Are Back(Green Version)
Starts fairly suddenly right into the lyrics and it’s just okay but then out of nowhere it busts into this amazing breakdown beginning with the intro to “Bring In The Clowns”, which is the basic music most people associate with the circus. It’s actually sort of a surprise to me oddly enough. I can’t recall them using it a lot but they definitely used it right this time. This is an intricate and very hard song that I can expect to see Juggalos get wrecked moshing to.
4/5

2. Beautiful Doom(Blue Version)
To me this sounds a lot more like a Dark Lotus tune. It’s mysterious and lyrically, Violent J in particular, was in great form. It was produced well but personally nothing besides J’s rap really stood out to me
3/5

3. In Yo Face
This sounds like a classic I.C.P. song. Bouncing bass, a lot of different guitar samples, and goofy yet violent lyrics complete it. The chorus is a chanter so Juggalos should enjoy it. In fact I already know it does. The Bone: Sounds like another Alley Rat but this time they mixed it a lot better. Guitar sampling sounds almost rockabilly, damn close in fact. The chorus isn’t bland and the hook works perfectly but I have nothing specific to say about it. It plainly works.

4. The Bone
Sounds like another Alley Rat but this time they mixed it a lot better. Guitar sampling sounds almost rockabilly, damn close in fact. The chorus isn’t bland and the hook works perfectly but I have nothing specific to say about it. It plainly works.

5. Zombie Slide
God the beginning of this song got me pumped with Violent J repeating “Wake The Dead Up” on crescendo. I think the all the music behind the lyrics has a lot wanting but the chorus makes up for it exponentially. It’s another Headless Boogie. This is gonna get crowds to jump high and land hard. Especially when Shaggy chants J-U-DOUBLE G-A-L-O!!! It employs organs and a lot of nice computer tricks and I’m almost waiting to hear a club remix. Already an album favorite.
5/5

6. To Catch a Predator
This song is funny as hell and has more to offer than you would expect from just a plainly funny song. Piano, Guitar, and good drums are put together with what sounded like sampling from an old school printer at one point. The idea behind the song is this. Violent J sits at home and lures unsuspecting perverts over the internet, making them think he’s a little girl, and when they arrive the slaughter ensues.
5/5

7. Boing Boing
Ah another song about a great American past-time, sex. They basically are touting their ability to leave every girl they make eye contact with, weak in the knees. They put in some old school sounding drums and porn clips that sound like they came from the same movie as Riddlebox ‘s track “Lil’ Somethin Somethin”.
3/5

8. I Found a Body
This song doesn’t sound all the way right to me and I can’t quite place why but I’m sure most of you will like it. It’s about Violent J and Shaggy respectively finding corpses and parading them as friends. It’s a pretty creepy and it’s produced well but to me it’s just… meh. However the skit at the end is hilarious.
3/4

9. Love
Ah something that we can all enjoy. A song about falling deep in love with someone you haven’t even met. The sound on this song is fairly unique even for our beloved carnie duo, not lyrically but the sampling is pretty interesting and that’s the best I can explain it. They definitely sat in front of a computer a long time on this track. It’s a pretty good song but not the best. I’d give it a B on a bad day.
4/5

10. Fonz Pond
Like Marsh Lagoon? Nope it’s actually a different concept entirely. People don’t dispose of bodies there, they just get drug down by something unknown. Deep Bass and perfect guitar samples put you right into the song like your standing right at the water’s edge. J and Shaggs ride the beat like the pros they are and once again I’m waiting to hear a club remix. Fantastic song and another album favorite.
5/5

11. Imma Kill You
This track is pretty simple but at the same time it’s simplicity makes it work. I have to say if their goal on this album was to go old school they accomplished it on this track, if not on any other. It resembles “Stomp” and others like it with a couple modern tricks. If it weren’t for how varied in style this album already is, I’d say it defines it entirely. “Oooh I’m Hurtin’ You. Imma Fuckin Kill You” I can already here the Lo’s chanting it outside every venue in the country.
5/5

12. Juggalo Island
I have mixed feelings on this because on one hand it’s not hard enough for my taste but on the other hand it has a great uniting sound like all the other Juggalo centered song. Ah fuck it I like it. This is a song most of us could smoke to during spring and summer parties. Lets trip in the sun on Juggalo Island. It sounds better than the Bahamas. (Also the skit at the end made me laugh my balls off, hear it for yourself)
5/5

13. Vultures
Interesting bass line and piano mix, I like the way this song sounds from beginning to end. From what I understand this is a fairly untapped “enemy” target for I.C.P. the best way I can describe them as is Vulture also. Someone who sits far away while they wait for opportunities to present themselves so that their apathy and greed pays off, such as waiting for an old relative to die for inheritance. God even talking about it makes me feel dirty, thankfully the song makes me feel better. Produced well and lyrically strong as an ox anyone can love it.
5/5

14. Vera Lee
If you liked Amy’s in the Attic, like I did, you’ll like this too. It’s pretty deep and dark and the metal/keyboards make it stay that way. Violent J puts emphasis on the right spots and just like he always does, perfects it. Although this seems like too good a song to have so little to say about it, that’s all I got. It’s a basic track but one I want to see live nonetheless.
4/5

15. Miracles
Every album they put out has a song that makes you transcend in your mind, all that you think is real and this album is no exception. Magic is something that I.C.P. has the unique ability to make me believe in periodically and this song does the job too. Echoing keyboards and drums make it sound like the sounds name sake and lyrical content. It shows how far they’ve gone and how far they’ll still go. It’s even got a guitar solo of sorts toward the end. It’s almost like another Nothing’s Left. Pure Shining Platinum.
4/5

16. Bang! Pow! Boom!
This song is really intricate and you can tell they put a lot of brow sweat on this, as they should have. It’s pretty typical clown stuff and it definitely was produced well, but to me among the other title tracks like Wax Museum and Great Milenko, it sort of lacks. But either way it works as an outro and that completes another album.

P.S. I know there were secret tracks at the end of each version.
4/5

Final Say: This is why after all these years I still claim I.C.P. as my favorite band. They have the right mix of violence and yet they don’t take themselves too seriously. You can tell they worked hard and had fun on this album. I can already tell this album will be remembered by past and future juggalos and stand as a great. Thus it begins… The era of BANG! POW! BOOM!
