Old news, beef was squashed as soon as it started. Might as well bring up the Eminem beef too because it is about as relevant nowadays. What was that CD 7 or 8 years ago? Jeez didn’t he perform at juggalo day recently even? (I think that’s correct? If I am wrong correct me I wasn’t there but that’s the news I received)

Well, ask ICP how much he influenced them. They have been pretty straight forward with that. I believe they have evolved past him now but he definitely helped “make” them in a way. At least he was influential and paved the way for them and the horrorcore/acid rap genres. They have even stated they chose to switch to horrorcore because of Esham’s local success with it.
I think ICP would have never got out of that original funk had they not switched to a more horrorcore style. So the trickle down effects would suggest Esham did (although not physically but culturally) help “make them”.
Esham’s dis CD was I think out of jealousy because they did surpass his fame.
EDIT: I would like to ad most fans have not read/experienced the Inner City Posse days when they had more of an old school gangsta rap style. But the Dog Beat days were rough for ICP which is why they switched it up to horrorcore.

And yeah Purple Gang was bound to suck, put the boss’s wife, brother and back up vocalist into a group and it’s gonna be weird.
Plus Esham’s 90’s work is great, Tongues has it’s moments and Repentance has it’s moments. Everything released since then is pretty bad apart from Natas’s N Of Tha World. Drugs (and going from a record label with quality and direction to nothing) are (is) bad.

No I Capitalize All My First Letters To Piss People Off, And Business Reasons. (I Use Email Alot Lets Them Know Its Me Not A Fake Email. Check Bonez Dubb “I Can’t Wait” & “Laid Back” Producer Credits You Will Understand What I Mean By “Business”) Like The “Fuck Esham” Thing. He Never Made ICP What They Are. He didn’t Help Them Tour, Promote, ETC…. Fuck I Heard J Say In An Interview On Many Occasions Esham Doing Stale Shit Even On Tour. (Like I Said Only Brought It Up Cause People Keep Saying On This Thread “Bring Esham Back”) Esham Influenced Eminem You Don’t See His Fans Going “Yea Put Him On The Label” Since You Wanna Bring Up Eminem. Which The Eminem Beef Was 20 Years Ago. Esham Put This Cd Out Not That Long Ago, If I Recall Right.

I Don’t See Esham Here. I See ICP Making RiddleBox. With Mike E Clark, No Esham! How Did They Ever Make It Without Esham. Without His “Influence” They Would Of Never Done Riddlebox, Ringmaster, ETC… Fuck Esham They Might Of Liked Him And Made A Little Bit Of Music With Him. (Mainly Because He Was Hot In The Area At The Time, Which Is What Alot Of Up coming Artist Do. But You Cannot Sit Here And Say Esham Made ICP. Nobody Will Ever Make What ICP Made From Then Till Now.

Not going to go into deep discussion as most of your stuff is ranting now but the Dark Carnival would NOT have happened without him. ICP switched to horror core because Esham had already made the genre successful in the Detroit underground music scene.
Had horrorcore not existed we would still be seeing yep white guys doing gangsta rap or they would still be working at burger king or something stupid like that. Whether you like it or not Esham is one if not THE founding father of horrorcore.
PS I have not liked any of his stuff in over 10 years but to downgrade a godfather of horrorcore as a scrub is not my style.
