Okay I’m typing all of this without reading anything anyone else has said about it yet, I’ll go read through in a bit, but these are just my first ass reactions. I’m gonna have to listen to it like 2 or 3 more times to get full opinions of each song, firstly it’s so nice to see a lot of full on horrorcore, the last few albums have had a lack of, you know, wicked shit. This time we had plenty, and we had the big notable one that we were prefaced about, Night of Red Rum, I FUCKING LOVED Night of Red Rum, like holy shit, then Triplex was also pretty damn good.
The first song was that one they always do about the character that are always pointless and repetitive for some reason (except for bang pow boom) but this one was better than most of them so, that’s a thing I guess
Fury we already knew and it’s friggen amazing
West Venor was good
I’ve probably listened to WTF like 34 times already so yeah, I love that song.
Satellite was okay
seriously hillarious was pretty good I think, I liked it a lot.
Game over was friggen weird, I don’t even know what to compare it to, I guess suicide hotline would be the only thing, just a story, not horror not real life, just a story of somebody’s pathetic life, it was well worded and such but I just don’t see the point.
Night of the Red Rum, omfg this was the shit I was waiting for, I love this song, ima listen to this like 8 more times real quick, just goddamn, yes.
Low was actually so out of left field and random to be I literally burst out laughing, I was so fucking confused
Triplex was friggen good, a bit more of what I was lookin for.
When that song Nobody’s fault came on I projectile vomited onto a wall, that’s all I should have to say about that, but like actually wtf, who thought this was a good idea, you guys are rappers, what is this autotune singing bullshit, it’s playing as I type this, I can feel my brain giving up, make it stop. Oh my fucking god, I’m just gonna keep writing random shit about it while it plays to make the time pass quicker, it’s killing me, how did we go from one of the most intense horrorcore songs they’ve ever written to this 3 songs later, omfg it’s still going, I thought it was over, for the love of the carnival make this end, I guess when I compare it to mainstream radio shit it’s probably not that bad, but compared to the songs just a few minutes ago it makes me want to put a jackhammer to my brain, omfg why won’t it end, oh holy shit it stopped I’m saved. (note, this was one of only a few that I typed as the songs were playing, the other times I did that I rewinded it to hear it whilst focusing, but not this time for obvious reasons)
Also I was gonna say something about hot head, I think it would have been really good if it either had less overproduction on it, or if his delivery was even more disturbing sounding which was clearly going for, as it is it’s okay, I think it’ll take a few listens to decide if I like it.
Shimmer was great in how disturbing the words were, but I thought the ending was weak.
Freedom was boring.
Finallly we get to the one built up like crazy, I like it rough. This wasn’t nearly as shocking as I was hoping it would be, the reason being because he talks about what he’d “like to” do, instead of a song about him doing it. In that way something like mind of a lunatic will always be more shocking because within the context of the song it’s actually happening. Though I might just be saying that because I’m desensitized as fuck to shit like that. I dead ass used to get off to gore stuff (do not tell my boyfriend I said that). But it was still a fun ass song, and I guess I should have expected this instead of something like mind of a lunatic, because that would be really out of character for icp, so I guess it’s better this way. Overall a good ass song, I like shit like that, obviously.
In ending, did I over-hype it? Yes, did I enjoy it, Yes. This album is a win for me no matter what because I already got 3 songs I KNOW I will return to, WTF, Fury, Red Rum. And a whole slew of songs I might come back to. So yeah, I liked this shit. I loved this new sound, but I do think they should start balancing out with the older sound as well before they become something they’re not. Somewhere in the middle, or a mix of different types of songs, is where they should be.
NOW I GOTTA GO FLIP SOME FUCKING RATS, FDHUAHGNEIWAOPHBIEOWPHBA9UPGHUEA

I’ve been returning to west vernor a bunch, I think it’s because it’s one of the only ones without that extreme overproduction, don’t get me wrong I loved that chaos on wtf, but it’s nice to have this song which feels more like normal icp, while still feeling very new. It’s nice.

LOST WAS THE CLOSEST TO MILENKO THEYVE EVER COME
MML LOST RULES
FRED IS ALOT LIKE BANG POW BOOM
YOU WONT ACTUALLY BE ABLE TO APPRECIATE IT UNTIL 5-10 YEARS LATER
SOME ICP RECORDS ARE LIKE THAT.. THEY SEEM TO REALLY SUCK AT FIRST
THEN YEARS GO BY AND YOU GO BACK TO RE-VISIT AND EVERY TRACK IS BRILLIANT
MISSING LINK LOST WAS EPIC RIGHT OFF THE BAT!! THATS HOW I LIKE IT!

OH YEALOW & NOBODIES FAULT ARE THE BEST TRACKS
COVERS DONT COUNT
SO YEA..
NOBODIES FAULT WAS THE BEST
ICP NEEDS MORE CATCHY POP SONGS
EVENTUALLY THEY WILL GO FULL ON ACOUSTIC AND DO A “KID ROCK” -LIKE TRANSFORMATION AND BECOME SUPER POPULAR
I’d argue that majority of ICP’s catalog has been catchy and poppy.

I know he’s just trolling, but as for the icp needs more catchy songs Vernor avenue showed they could do that without being god awful, there is a way to be catchy without being pop garbage, and most importantly, without, any, fucking, singing. Some rappers can sing (hopsin for one) and J more or less can too, he did in Falling Apart and that sounded great, but that was just for the hook, and it was completely different than the garbage we got in nobodies fault. I think I need a drink or two or 86 to cope with the fact that I had to listen to violent fucking J with an auotuned singing voice. Also falling apart would be another example of a catchy icp song that isn’t fucking cancer, it’s still something only they could have made, no other group could have made falling apart, ANYBODY could have made nobodies fault.

Alright, so, my watch history right now is like 90% FFF (well not really because it doesn’t show repetes, but if it did that’d be the case) Fury, WTF, Triplex, Red Rum, West Vernor, seriously hillarious, and like it rough. GOLD, this is good shit.

This whole thing sounds like the intro to an icp song before the actual rap starts. idk why.
The whole thing is just a big brilliant joke that you guys probably don’t get because you probably don’t listen to Kanye.
As for the idea of ICP being more poppy, ICP has always been poppy through their entire career. Their career has always been about presenting simplified, easy to to digest and catchy music. Quit seeing the word ‘poppy’ as a negative like you’re consistently associating it with Brittany Spears.

Because only Lucem is able to match the brilliance understanding of someone like Kanye, yall.
And who is upset that ICP is poppy? Maybe I missed something. No one that I’ve noticed has denied that they make catchy tunes intended for concert singalongs and record sales. I enjoy their poppy sound.

Holy Hellwig. I can’t even imagine what could make you say such a thing 😱😱😱
Missing Link (both but ESPECIALLY Lost) sound amateur AF & nothing like Milenko. The production/hooks/mixing/atmosphere. ML was icp bottoming out. Between J’s weight/lack of confidence in his abilities & young wicked’s involvement, both discs are very troublesome.
FFF on the other hand totally captures the feel of Milenko/Jeckel bros. I can’t believe J was able to turn back the clock but I’m so down. The rhyme schemes/flow alone is so far beyond anything on ML
I respect your opinion & shit & it’s cool everyone can have such dif views on their music. I’m just high AF & cant believe I saw someone shit on FFF & than called Missing Link Lost the 2nd coming of Milenko ✌

Lil Yachty is really good y’all. I bought Lil Boat 2 and it’s so awesome. DAS CAP and COUNT ME IN are my top tracks.
Also, Nobodys Fault is the best not because of the auto tune… but the smooth flow and chill beat it has… The bell things on it are so soothing… It’s a lot like the Yachty stuff, real relaxing and such. It sounds awesome.

You won’t get it because you probably don’t listen to Kanye. It’s what I said. Don’t twist the context to push a false narrative. That’s for trolls and Republicans.
And who is upset that ICP is poppy? Maybe I missed something. No one that I’ve noticed has denied that they make catchy tunes intended for concert singalongs and record sales. I enjoy their poppy sound.
A lot of juggalos tend to get upset when I call ICP poppy.

Never liked Yachty but I get his appeal. It’s supposed to be really dumb fun music. That’s why they call it meme rap.
