Nobodies fault felt like it should’ve been a oujie track. Maybe i wouldve liked it more. But J doing it? Nah thanks.

I feel you. The song actually reminded me of Ouija’s Ghost. Anybody else or is it just me?

I’m pretty happy with the album overall. It was better than I thought it would be (based on how I felt about the other installments of the 2nd deck) but worse than what I thought it could be (based on the single Fury).

I liked about 2/3 of the album, specifically the first 2/3.

Red Fred and Fury are just flat out dope.

West Vernor Ave. would be one of my favorites if it weren’t for that hook and J’s bridges. Really don’t like those and drags down the song for me, which is a shame because the beat and Shaggy’s flow is dope.

WTF is alright. I think I’ll never be in the mood of wanting to listen to that song specifically, but when it comes on I won’t always skip it.

I really like Satellite and I’m kinda surprised by it. I don’t like a lot of ICP’s softer shit (especially nowadays) but I’m feeling this one. Cool beat, mellow delivery, pretty good.

Seriously Hilarious and Night Of Red Rum are obviously favorites of many and I feel the same way. Awesome songs.

I don’t like Game Over. The 8bit stuff in the beat was a cool (albeit obvious) idea but I didn’t like the execution. Some of those sounds really annoy. Other than that I also agree with what jiggles the clown said about the content.

I LOVE Time Of The Season, so I’m really digging Low. I feel like they really made it their own, like a good cover should be.

I didn’t like Triplex at first. I felt like it would have been cooler to have 3 characters and portrayed by 3 different rappers. This would have been a perfect song for back in the day when they were still cool with Twiztid. But obviously that’s not an option now. J, Shaggy and Esham doing one character each would have been cool, too (especially since I was really hoping for an Esham feature since they have been fucking with one another again). And maybe Jumpsteady doing the therapist (although I did enjoy Shaggy kinda reprising the character he did on Suicide Hotline).

also I couldn’t really take it serious in the beginning. It kinda sounded like a parody to me. I got major Jon Lajoie’s – WTF Collective vibes from it.
That being said, the song grew on me pretty strongly and now I really like it. Especially that sweet hook.

Unfortunately this is where FFF kinda ends for me on re-listens.

Don’t like Nobody’s Fault (ICP doing autotune is kinda my nightmare)

Can’t get into Hot Head.

Shimmer has some stuff in it that ruins a track for me that could have been amazing. The hook is great. It’s surprisingly creepy. The subject matter is intriguing too.
I think the bible stuff is kinda cheesy, but whatever, wouldn’t be that bad, but I really hate J’s delivery. I dunno, his flow and voice just sounds really weird to me. It’s kinda subtle but I can’t get over it.

I hate Freedom. Just really kitschy.

Beware was just unnecessary.

Not feeling I Like It Rough. It might grow on me but so far it’s ‘meh’. Also suffers because they overhyped due to Beware and then didn’t deliver.

So yeah, eventhough I didn’t enjoy the last third of the album, I really love the rest of it. It took at least a second listen though, because the first time around I got the creeping feeling around the time I got to Game Over or so that Shaggy wasn’t going to have a lot of verses on this one. And that turned out to be true (he doesn’t have a proper verse from Satellite to Freedom, unless you count his break on Low). So the first listen went along with growing frustration over having track after track without a Shaggy verse. But I guess that’s just what it is and now that I know what’s up I get to enjoy the songs regardless. Still hope he’ll have more verses on the fifth.

my only issue with Triplex is I wish each of the characters individual verses were a bit longer…sort of feels like they’re rushing through it at times to where the characters don’t really come off that distinct from one another…that or they could have just given each character their own verse rather than splitting between 3 on each verse idk…it’s a fun track but probably not one of my favorites

I have played it about 3 times, and still haven’t come to a consensus yet. I definitely dont hate it.

Played it on my old ass computer with the nice little subwoofer, and also a lot in the Ford. I need to hear it with headphones on soon to make my final decisions… which of course change throughout time for everyone.

But so far, some things of note for me:

》I like “Nobody’s Fault” the most as of now. Highly unpopular opinion, I see. But it works. And admittedly, it has some Ouijja influence.

》The “Red Fred” intro song is simultaneously awesome and annoying.

》I haven’t gotten into the “deep” tracks like “Satellite” and “Freedom” yet. Usually those are the ones I love the quickest. Maybe I’m changing.

》”WTF” sounds better than it did before in cohesion with the album. I also think most people here dislike it because they question Trump’s wall.

》Due to the subject matter and styles and samples, it seems like J has been influenced by Necro and Brotha Lynch Hung as of late.

》Not enough Shaggy. And when he is around, he is in that weird elated psycho mode. But never sounds angry or sad or anything else that I can remember. Sounds like J just fed Shaggs Adderall and whippets before each recording session then went back to his own oh so carefully crafted poetry.

This is all on some muffled first listens. I’ll be analyzing further. To be fucking continued, bitchasses!

Looks like you and I have more or less the same feelings about this one.

I never thought of having triplex as a feature though, but now that you mentioned it that would have been dope.

But yeah. Usually after that one i just go back to Fury, red rum, or seriously hilarious.

I do wish i liked game over more. I love Js flow. The Beat was cool, and reminded me a bit of G-mos 8-bit stuff. But i think it wouldve worked a lot better as a song more dealing with escapism due to depression, anxiety, etc. Ya know? Like wanting to escape into video games because he has no friends or hes dealing with depression. It just feels weird that it seems like J has something against gamers when Icp has always celebrated nerdy shit.

Why would you think ICP has something against ‘gamers’? lol your taking the song too seriously bruh its story telling/exaggerated intentionally

Cant believe some of yall dont think FFF is a massive improvement from the past decade of music from the clowns. This is their best work since atleast Hell’s Pit, personally I’d put it #3 behind Milenko & jeckel bros

Simply the song is about a slob playing video games 24 hrs a day. I could see this being started by VJ talking to JJ. Then Daddy J does what he does and makes a song about constantly gaming.

Ya feeling me so far?

A little thought and its about anything that consumes the majority of your time. Video games, youtube rabbit holes, facebook, christianmingle.com, you name it. Is the time spent doing what your doing worth while? Get out and do something different.

Perhaps the meaning behind this song is fight back against yourself? Force yourself to do things?

Thats something i can relate to…

Mr. Jiggles version of the song would be dope to hear.

Lol homie said “christianmingle.com”… I forgot that was a thing, good stuff

On the whole theme of “fighting back”, we have an older guy who is a regular at the dispensary. He is a vet and has serious PTSD and nonstop tremors. He is constantly depressed etc.

My coworker, a younger, more sheltered cat who doesnt quite understand that world, said to me yesterday after the guy left: “that guy never has anything positive to say”.

Which isnt true. He has some goofy jokes and we chuckle a bit. But I think next time, if he does say something sad about life, I’m just gonna be all

fire back! fite back!!

I had asked somewhere already, but I never got an educated answer, is the Str8Jacket that produced FFF the same guy from the Dead-N-Dirty Produktionz? The Dead Dirty Carnies producer, because if so, fucking super duper propz ten fold for having made it to the mother fucking hatchet, like a preschooler jumping straight into a collegiate professor position, and if it’s not the same guy please excuse my stupidity and ignorance and help me to learn better please.

Just been bugging me, like the DDC, I was absorbing all they had to offer, and it was dopeness overall, and they just poof disappeared. I have been wondering what happened to them, I hope all is well.

MMFWCL to the wicked!

And FTFOMF to the bitch boy bitchez . . . . .

Random thought:

665=17….

3 decks,  17 cards….

17 ➗ 3= 5.666

3 ➗ 17= 0.176

Patterns, how do they work?

Okay, so I’ve been playing this album for a week. In my car, the computer, with headphones and without.

I don’t see what the huge deal is.

I’m in the minority, once again.

I really like the album.

Overall.

But I find myself skipping over tracks.

I dunno. My opinion will change over time. But for now, I neither love it nor hate it.

It’s mostly a production thing. It just doesnt always sound clear and on course. I dont know what else to say about that.

My favorite tracks tonight:

》Nobody’s Fault

》Fury!

》West Vernor Ave.

》Freedom

I want to like “Night of Red Rum” and “Seriously Hilarious” more. But I dont tonight. Maybe they call for a live show to appreciate.

I’m not feeling anything else much at the moment.

How many times do you have to listen to the album until you realize that you’re trying to force yourself to like something you don’t and that your taste is born more out of the novelty of brand loyalty rather than music enjoyment? Not saying that an album always hits on the first listen, or even on the next five, just that it seems you’re trying too hard to enjoy something more than you do.

My opinion, if I were 15 I would have loved this album. Best album I’ve heard from them since Tempest, and I loved Tempest when I was 15.

I get what you’re saying. But I know myself better than you think you know me, so I will reiterate by saying that I simply dont get why everyone else likes it THAT much. I actually dig “Found” a lot. Most don’t. I’m aware of my own aural pleasures and disdains.

The Tempest is awesome. I recall my brother verbally dissing that one beforr he died. I ended up really loving it. So much variety of subjects they rap on, and clear beats. You were 15 when that came out? Christ, you’re a baby.

Fuck you for claiming I follow “brand loyalty”. I simply would have been more interested if the album had more clear production and more 2 Dope raps.

I didn’t say you follow brand loyalty, I just asked how many times do you have to try the album before you realize it’s brand loyalty? It’s a question not a claim.

A better question is; Do you give any other artists this many chances? The answer to that should reveal a lot about the way you consume music. Would you listen to an Eminem album you found mediocre multiple times with hope or expectation that it’ll grow on you? Would you be like “Man, I wish I liked Lil Pump’s ‘Gucci Gang’ more, maybe if I heard it live it’ll click!” Or is ICP’s music the only music you go great lengths to make excuses for rather than sticking with your initial impression?

I’m only half trolling, but still kind of an important question.

Something that I think anybody who enjoys art needs to consider is making sure you support art that you actually like rather than supporting artists out of a loyalty or a novelty. There’s so much content out there that it’s hard for artists to thrive in this competitive market. I think the artists that should get the shine or the attention are the ones that are making good art rather than mediocre ones out of a loyalty or novelty because it creates an environment of mediocre art while the good art fades away. A good example of this happening is with a lot of soundcloud artists who go out of their way to get attention because they know people will support their mediocre art out of the novelty of the artist’s outrageous persona. Another problem is supporting your homie’s art just because they are your homie even though their art is trash. It turns things into a popularity game and mediocre art rises because mediocre artists have more friends than the wonderful artists. More so it creates an environment for clout chasers and money hungry artists that have no passion for their craft to thrive because they can exploit the system to work in their favor. This is totally something that happens in the juggalo culture because plenty of juggalos have flat out admit to only supporting artists because they were signed to Psychopathic or because they repped for juggalos. So I have no doubt in my mind that there are juggalos that would try to force themselves to like ICP music that they don’t really like out of loyalty to the juggalo brand. That could be you, could not be you. I’m sure everybody thinks their self awareness is at peak levels though.

I loved every track on FFF when I listened to the album for the first time, I even liked WTF even though I really didn’t like it when it was first revealed, they mixed it better for the album and I could understand every word they said.

I’m 37 so I guess I’ll never grow up. Fuck out of here with your pretentious and condescending insights on why people like what they do. It’s not brand loyalty, I didn’t like a lot of Found as one example.

I think you just don’t get it. You seem deaf as to why ICP is so dope. I bet if I listened to any of your favourite rappers I’d think they were weak as fuck. Just two totally different tastes in music that will never agree with each other.

In an industry full of carbon copies and lyrical flows with uninspired meaningless buzzwords, ICP still remain original, creative and interesting.

I honestly can’t even listen to most rap these days because it’s so fucking lame for so many reasons I’d be typing for too long.

Everyone these days seems to geek out over cunts rapping fast and all I think when I hear that shit is wow that cunt spoke fast and said so many words but really didn’t say a damn thing, nothing original and mostly just the same tired crap that I hear from most rappers.

If it’s not that it’s some cunt who sounds like he is about to fall asleep or die in a coma.

It’s like listening to a flock of parrots squawking the same noises at each other.

ICPs albums have always had a uniqueness to them which I can’t find in other bands and rappers. Every Joker cards face brings forth us all speculating, “what’s the message?” We dissect the characters and name. Fearless Fred Fury has an awesome concept and it feels present the entire album. Other rappers while lyrically talented, their albums just feel like another album with the usual production style and fast chopping or mumble rap style, with a usual rap subject.

Theirs just somthing about ICP that can’t be replaced ever when it’s all said and done in their career. The industry lacks creativity big time these days.
