To be precise it was supposed to be a HOLOGRAPHIC cover...!

And those of us that paid for the HG preorder ALSO paid for shipping. So in the end, "WE" paid more for our copy of the album than anyone else did.

I want that fuckin' cover cuz that was what I paid for!

Did anyone go to the instore yesterday?i was wondering if they had any merch for sale an if they had any pictures?an I called up the store that's do the meet an greet in Columbus,oh an he said you do have to buy the cd there an get a wristband but he said that it's not going to be limited,but it starts up at 6pm probably till closing

I pre-ordered from amazon and I'm still waiting on mine to arrive. The main difference is that I don't feel like writing amazon angry letters because I haven't gotten my package a day after release.

I can see why people are frustrated, but people sound like they've been waiting for weeks already. And people getting shafted on holographic covers is kind of lame too, but it's not like they paid extra for something they're not getting, so I just don't see it as a big loss.

I love seeing people defend psychopathic I used to also. However they are a music label and can't even distribute the music properly. That's a failure. If they wanna be a small company stop doing things they can't accomplish. That simple. Ship my cd you bastards

Not a big loss??? I have no way of hearing the album until my copy arrives. So yea I don't get to hear it until next week if in lucky. Fuck that shit. Only reason I ordered was for the different cover, I'm a collector

I'm not necessarily defending anyone. I'm just saying I don't see why people are getting so upset so soon. It's been two days since the album was released and people have been complaining about not having it for even longer. Things take time, have a bit of patience maybe. If you're capable of logging onto faygoluver's then I assume you're probably capable of streaming the album from SPIN, that's what I did.

And yes, I don't see you not getting some special album cover as any kind of tragedy. You didn't pay extra for the cover, you paid for you cd, and you're still getting the cd. Now I agree it's lame that you most likely won't get it like you were told you would, but you're not actually out anything.

I haven't read any of this thread.

All I know is this new distribution company sucks so far. The missing link isn't on my juke box yet. FF5 was on the day it released I believe. It might have been a week. But, I didn't listen to the leak, I was looking forward to listening it to it on the juke box at work.

I really Dont buy CDs that often, but I have no problem spending 20$ to listen to a whole album on a juke box.

I'm actually a little upset it wasn't on the jukebox, I put an extra 70$ on my debit card to be able to play the whole album at work a couple times, and it wasn't there to do. I guess I'm gonna just download the leak

I don't think the grace period should be THAT soft for a preorder for an album. Have they not learned from their past mistakes? It's not the fact that they fucked up once, it's the fact that they CONTINUE to fuck up. We may not have PAID more for this version, but they sure as hell make more money from it. Plus, they get to use that money almost directly after I preorder. We should not be punished for the convenience we are giving them.

Its funny watching some of you defend this latest fuck up at PSY. If they can get Abaddon and The Garcia Brothers to my place 3 or 4 days before the street release date, then it should be no issue getting the star attraction on the labels newest recording to my place early as well.

The amount of entitlement in this thread now is on some crazy levels and this is coming from one that downloaded the leak. If you haven't heard the album and want to, download it. If quality is an issue, the high quality rips will be out there now. It's not like the CD is never going to arrive.

This post seems dickish, I'm not really trying to be. As stated before, I do feel bad for all that haven't received it, but it'll come. I'm a vinyl nerd so I'm more used to preorders taking sometimes months to arrive. It happens.

It's entitled to assume buying an album directly from the source should at least arrive at least BY the release date? Not only have they fucked up, but they haven't even released a statement. I'm just saying it's bad business, and Psy will have to make it REALLY worthwhile for me to ever preorder from them again. Strange is able to make it work, so is Funk Volume, MNE as well. What makes Psy so different?

I guess I should have made it more clear that I was referring to the ones that say it should have came days before release and whatnot. This also doesn't seem to be a new problem so why continue to give them a chance to screw you over? Preorder elsewhere or go support a local record shop and pick it up.

I doubt its possible anymore but it'd be cool if all of you guys that haven't received it were able to cancel your orders, they might take notice then.

Maybe those albums arrived early because it's easier to process deliveries in smaller quantities. It takes a whole lot less time to ship out a couple thousand albums than it would to ship tens of thousands.

And again, I'm not defending anyone. I didn't order through Hatchet Gear because I didn't trust them enough to get it to me on time. Joke's on me though, I went through amazon and I'm in the same situation.
