Idk if anyone mentioned this but icp used an obvious bass line from rage against the machine, also the hokus pokus music I’m pretty sure they didn’t sit and write that not to mention the song ninja. I have those albums booklets and all and don’t see any credits for that. Cpn can drink all the twizzler tears he wants but he’s still just a douche.

As far as the def poetry jam line I don’t consider it a rip as they didn’t make it a major part of the song where juggalos were head nodding, it was more like a tribute or quote.confused

What are your guys thoughts on this? Underground rap group MBK claiming Twiztid is rebranding their idea.If you notice the left picture a member from the group is wearing a yellow shirt with the skeleton east side hand sign, and the blue picture is of their album.

Now Twiztid is releasing a jersey that is very similar to this design, and also a Triple Threat cd. I am having a hard time leaning either way, but keep in mind Twiztid just did a few shows with these guys not too long ago, and a member of MBK has designed Tshirts for Twiztid in the past.

Another connection (i believe 100% coincidence on this) the name triple threat has relation to MBK also, they are from toledo and there is another group from toledo named triple threat, not only this but there used to be a band in the area called Hells Kitchen who put out a cd called Triple Threat. MBK was always working with Hells Kitchen, they mentored them in the same way that ICP mentored Twiztid while on Psychopathic Records.

The group Triple Threat above, and the Album Hells Kitchen: Triple threat below for reference.

And a few videos just for those not familiar with their music.

I know Twiztid knows about Hells Kitchen (who almost won the gathering competition AMB eventually won)

Monoxide specifically, he don’t want that memory. #deuce

I don’t think it’s a big deal.  If you like MBK, buy the merch form MBK.  If you like Twiztid, buy it from Twiztid.

Twiztid has been throwing that shit up for fucking years. If my old phone didn’t get stolen I had a picture with Jamie throwing that up from American Psychos. It’s East Side. If you really think they stole that you are a retard.

They toured with Twiztid with that shit on their shirts and Twiztid “coincidentally” made it their album art? They jacked that shit just like icp jacked the wraith

If you really believed that all lives matter we wouldn't need to say black lives matter

When did Twiztid tour with these guys? When was the first documented instance of MBK using that sign? And when was the earliest time Twiztid used that for their Triple Threat group?

These are important questions. Because it may turn out Twiztid stole nothing at all. But I bet that wouldn’t stop CPN from claiming Twiztid stole it without checking the necessary artwork/photos and their years of origin as I just mentioned above.

Don’t ask Noah for evidence that doesn’t exist. He’ll just start saying stupid shit like “do the math”.

Actually I gotta hand it to CPN. He only mentioned the accusations. He put no stock into it either way. Hopefully he keeps his mouth shut before all the research into the necessary questions and chronology can be answered. 1 hour 21 minutes 36 seconds.

Back to the hand symbol and what the earliest example might be of Twiztid using it publicly.

The song Triple Threat with Blaze comes from Mutant vol 2 released Released on July 26, 2005. On the Psychopathic youtube channel, the music video itself was uploaded in 2011. But was the video made the same year in 2011? I would say yes. I doubt the video was made in 2005 or even 2006. In the Triple Threat music video, Jamie looks like he was in his skinnier phase which came around 2010-2013. Hell, in this interview with Jamie and Paul about Man’s Myth and Mutant, Jamie looks way fatter than he does in the Triple Threat video. Notice how this is about Man’s Myth and Mutant. Nothing after it is mentioned. Probably because at the time of that video, the next album did not exist yet.

They’ve been throwing the sign up for years.

Now the idea to use a skeleton hand is just a generic idea. Maybe taken, hardly a bite, all for attention.

gotta disagree.

thinkin on it for a few seconds…

let us suppose that twiztid deliberately stole the shit straight from them just to be dicks, all worst-case-scenario like.

even in that undeniably wormy scenario, all i can really say is, ‘welcome to pro sports, mbk.’

  awfully paranoid, arent you?

I guess you would also be fine with joke thieves in the world of standup comedy.

not really.

nor with b-boys stealin each others dance moves, nor with doctors usin some other guys research in their journal articles, nor with yada yada et cetera the beat goes on.

shame on them.  shame, shame.

shame, i say.

but the bottom line is, it aint my fight.  its my brothers keepers fight, and i dont even know em.

meanwhile, on the other side, twiztid has already irritated me in more significant ways.  this wouldnt lower my opinion of them by much.

if even true.  which is sumn i dont care if i ever find out.

sooo…  whatchu want me to say…?

‘wow, this is so cool, i hope everybody gets more and more angry with each other!’

Man, I’ve been throwing up the east side sign since the early 90’s, since, ya know, I live on the east side and not in Michigan ( middle of the US I believe). If anything, I want a royalty check. Or a cold bottle of faygo …

The post was not specifically about throwing up the east, it was about the use of it with a skeleton hand east side.

This mysteriously appears on a shirt following MBK making one (Twiztid knows these guys make shirts, they actually have bought some designs from them to sell. (which sold out btw) this happens shortly after doing a few concerts with them. Then also appears on their cd.. which MBK also just put out.

That was the debate, not just about representing the east side. They have done shows together in the past when Twiztids came to the area, not sure those dates but they recently just did 3 shows with them for the my bloody valentine weekend in February.

Much better material A+. Now yeah I would start to believe that maybe you were copying their design if you released that image onto a tshirt after seeing their shirts prior and ordering work from them.

=======================================================================

Lets say you have your own clothing store in the mall. You design the yellow shirt below. Another clothing company in the mall contacts you and you make them some shirt designs, the shirt designs sell very well, in fact they sell every single one of them.

A period of time passes, you start to become friendly with the competing store, working together on projects. Then out of the blue this company breaks off contact. You visit their store where you notice the gray shirt. Would you think this company is stealing your idea?
