Wanted to put this rant in the forum, didn't know where to put it. Just contributing to the book we're writing.

There are other of ways for ICP to accomplish their goals with out doing a march. A big fuck you to the government, like many other people already pointed out, would be to have all these thousands of juggalos that supposedly have been treated wrong sue the FBI or local law enforcement. Mass amounts of that happening would totally do much more than the march. Could even get all those local lawyer ads for lawyers that can specialize in that field. Or what ever. The march will do nothing but gain publicity. So, in all seriousness it is a publicity stunt. Maybe not intended for ICP, but every headline will read “ICP and fans…” or something like that.

And it’s not going to change anybodies perception. Ever tell somebody about the gang label that isn’t a juggalo? They laugh at it. They don’t give a shit because it’s only juggalos. Ever tell anybody that’s not a juggalo about the march? They laugh even harder at that. Think it’s silly as hell. Because it is.

We have innocent young black people, well people in general but the focus is on black people, being shot and killed by poorly trained police in this country and half of it thinks those marches are fucking stupid. Half of this country thinks BLM are nothing but violent terrorists trying to kill off all the white people despite things life facts and truth debunking that. You expect anybody to change their perception about juggalos? Fuck no.

So this march is really meant to be more symbolic than really help anybody. The whole idea of it is just self indulgent. It’s a bunch of juggalos that want to feel important for doing nothing. Self important juggalos that want to feel like they are doing something great and being a part of something bigger by attending a free concert. And I know, because that’s the reason I want to go to the march, so I can feel self important. Like I’m fighting for a cause, when I’m really not. I’d still do it too.

And the fact that any of you are so upset about this KNOWING that it won’t accomplish a damn thing, KNOWING there really is no purpose but to give the world a middle finger. Pissed off at Twiztid because they won’t show up to be a part of the illusion of fighting back is retarded. But what ever. Symbolism and superficial bullshit must matter more to you guys than you think.

And I’m still going to blame it on Otis because he’s not a kid. He’s a fucking idiot that should know better.

I respectfully disagree...musically Twiztid really hasn't evolved at all since leaving Psychopathic...I expected to hear a growth or evolution...an artistic freedom they didn't seem to have before while being Psychopathic slaves apparently...but it's all the same shit they were doing on Psychopathic in their last few years...this dark, rock-infused, humorless shit...one of the big things I always liked about Twiztid's music was their humor...that's practically gone now replaced with iffy raps from Monoxide and Jamie rapping his ass off...Lex is pretty generic, Zodiac is dope, Young Wicked's a loser (I'm not even really that sold on his raps honestly...dude has a dope flow but his actual lyrics are pretty garbage and apparently he's just a piece of shit in person so what's the point?)

mind you ICP hasn't really evolved either but at this point I'm done expecting them to...they're comfortable in their bubble and will continue to be until it starts harming them financially...I do wish they'd put more effort into their other remaining artists though...Hoodoo deserves a bigger push IMO especially after putting together Asylum with little to no help from them

Lucem is a juggalo in everything but name.  Thats why he is able to take a step back and look at it from a practical perspective. I dont think the things he said are unreasonable. Then again maybe it is, but its how I feel too.

You make a great point about there not only bein two sides to this thing. Its complicated like most things.

I don't know what you meant by I don't owe people loyalty or what ever. But yeah, my comment is for people hating Twiztid over it.

I don't label myself with the label because I don't feel I am dedicated enough to the cultural ideas to fit under that label. And I generally don't like embracing any labels because it adds a degree of separation. I'm a human. What we all are at our cores. The moment we start embracing labels we start losing touch with the core idea that we are all human.

Even though I don't identify with the culture there is still a peace of this culture that is a part of me. Undeniably. So I will never truly turn my back on it. Well, maybe one day you can't predict the future. Most people automatically call me a juggalo regardless. Like half this forum. Or people that know me. I don't care. I just disagree.

I love Twiztid, honestly probably my favorite band of all time. I listen a lot of music, underground and mainstream, rap or rock or whatever. What I mean is I listen a lot of other stuff than "juggalo music", and Monoxide is on my top 3 favorite rappers list (with Gore Elohim and Royce The 5'9 if anyone is wondering). I was happy when they left Psy, as I felt ICP was holding them back in a way.

I haven't liked ICP in years. Last few good songs are from Jeckel Brothers, can't enjoy anything that came after that album. Twiztid is still releasing dope music.

To be honest I haven't considered myself as a juggalo in a loooong time. I'm just a fan good music, and a fan of Twiztid.

Never liked Blaze though.

There are a couple other points in this that seem to be getting overlooked. Well, not overlooked but a bit washed over.

Is anybody hooked up on the fact that Twiztid has been outted as having NOT WANTED to have played the last several Gatherings and it took MASTERS and jacked up fees before they would? Alright, apparently they did WotH 17 for cost (which ICP seems quite thankful for) but even that AMAZING ONCE-IN-A-LIFETIME PERFORMANCE was the result of settling on another deal... ugh...

When Twiztid says, "We got love for Juggalos", they mean it in the same way Spinal Tap says, "We love you, Cleveland!".

I totally agree with VJ's assessment that people don't want to see them all on-stage pretending to be cool with each other after all this YW signing bullshit... which is STRAIGHT UP BULLSHIT and Twiztid is WRONG for that!

You can argue about the merits or faults of Twiztid's initial response to not marching all you want... THAT is potentially healthy debate... but any Juggalo acting conflicted about them signing YW (knowing everything we know about their mutual pasts), or acting like ICP "deserved" to be cut like that, needs a fuckin' check!

After watching that whole FLH interview and KNOWING that "that cord is fuckin' cut", Twiztid needs to quit playin' like they can still bank on MYSTERY BEEF Ooooooohhh... It's fuckin' out there! That YW shit pretty much demands that Paul and Jamie drop whatever it is they think they're holding onto about what went down at Psychopathic and their split from them. Because that was some seriously hateful shit to do to their "friends and family". I totally agree with Violent J that they KNEW what that would do and they KNEW how it would make them feel and there is no MYSTERY BEEF about it, that's some LIFE shit.

So Twiztid needs to quit playin' with talking shit about merch contracts and creative differences, say what "needs" to be said and quit acting like they're being all fuckin' magnanimous by not "revealing the true story of ICP"... Dat dog won't hunt no more.

Twiztid wants to be regarded as a new band. They have respect for their fans but they want new ones that don't force them to be attached at the hip of Psychopathic... which is the "curse" they will never be able to shake. And they're tryin' reeeeeaaall hard to.

I like a bunch of MNE stuff they've put out. I think Twiztid's new video is pretty dope! Amazing body paint stuff. But this real shit they did is just outside of my ability to find a reason why anyone would defend it. They need to come up with one before I'm ready to say Fuck MNE... and that POS "video response" they put out did not sway me in the least.
