and the fucking resident fishermen that seem to think that if they catch a fish they weren’t trying to catch, it’s okay to KILL THE FISH AND LEAVE IT’s BODY ON THE BANK!! i mean com on. it’s a perfectly healthy fish that serves it’s own purpose in the ecosystem! you don’t know how many carp/suckers/drum, I’ve found rotting on the bank of the river because these fucking steel-headers/bass-brains think they’r “trash fish”, if i catch someone doing this i will just go off on them, but sadly i only see the product of their ignorance, and honestly, it makes me sad.

also people throwing out their casting nest to catch mullet and other bait fish, right in front of where im fishing.

and bratty kids who are fishing with their dad farther away, come over to me, ask if I caught anything, and casts out right next to me, side by side, and catches a fuckin fish. MY FUCKING FISH, and has the nerve to ask if he can use my pliers. I say no. then he runs back to his Dad, with it dangling from the hook and bouncing around. Then keeps it, even though its underweight. fuckin punk. and your dads a bitch for allowing that shit to happen little kid! imma fuck you up

how bout when you catch a fish on the pier and the guy next to you basically begs you to give him the fish, catch your own damn fish man. if i want to give the fish away i will offer it to you! i make it a point to release the fish when someone starts that shit.

or when they see the pier is kinda packed and the decide to cast out so close to people that ever cast gets tangled with other peoples line, you are ruining the night for everyone else asshole GO AWAY!!

@scruffy i would think that all depends on who is around you at the time, and if you keep the fish you kill or if you leave them to rot XD

Itd actually be wayyy tougher to fish using firearms, considering bullets lose their velocity when they hit the water, unless you can Doc Holiday one when it jumps out the water.
