i found this really amusing.
When fat people wear clothes that don’t fit, making all of us have to unwillingly look at your flabby stretch marks. It’s called the big and tall store, look it up. I shop there myself.
this brings me to a really big irritation: big and tall stores. 99% of them mean literally big and tall. not one or the other.
i go into a shop lookin for a pair of pants that actually reach the tops of my boots, they tell me they have em, but the waists sizes range from huge to really fuckin huge. and usually they arent getting a lot of business, which emboldens them to ask me dumb shit like, ‘you think you can wear a 40?’ well, i could maybe pull off the hobo look and rock a 40, if the jerks sold a belt that was less than two meters long.

Many cities (mine included) have laws that cause this. Downtown Omaha it’s illegal to ride on the sidewalk, and if there isn’t a bike lane, then they have to ride in the street. Bikers are supposed to follow all traffic laws as well, stoplights included. The part that is bullshit is we know they aren’t going to be able to follow the speed limit! Either make bike lanes or let them ride on the sidewalk.
