I don’t know man, bibles are hard to find around here. I knew a guy who said he saw one once, but he was always making stuff up just to impress us. I’ve heard it’s not the most reliable source of information. So what are you saying? That the Mayans didn’t kill Jesus?

And as far as lying, Mel Gibson would never do that sir. All the bible historians around here just rave about him, he sends fruit at Christmas.

LLAL pats fuckin with y'alls heads man. What bothered me about the passion is its a two hour torture porn basically. Now i'm not a christian but id think you'd want to make a movie about his life and teachings. Not the torture he endured at his gruesome end. Somethin tells me nobody would've seen that movie though….

I think the purpose was to show his suffering to the extreme because in real life it might have even been worse back then. Most Christians would have not willingly gone through half of that for their faith. Jesus apparently knew that's what was going to happen but he didn't go the other way. He also did say Father, forgive them for they know not what they do, while on the cross.

How did they “coincidentally” have pyramids made with the same mathematical proportions as the Great Pyramids of Egypt? I thought Christopher Columbus was the first to discover North and South America?

Thats the point I was trying to make though. Why do we have to show suffering to move people? Where are we as a society where we are moved more by negativity and violence than love? People would've thought the movie boring had it been about his life and teachings….and yes even though columbus wasn't spanish he was funded by them to make the trip

Well, what would shake you out of your shell more? Someone telling you they will fuck you up or someone fucking you up?

I think many more made it before Columbus. The most recent before him would probably have been the Vikings.

purely speculation man there's no proof of the Scandinavians in mexico? they discovered northern parts of america Greenland etc. your right though that people were there before the spanish, otherwise  the incans and maya culture wouldn't have existed. I merely said in that one statement the world as a whole didn't know about the mexican civilizations until the spanish came across them     Cabal said:

I don't disagree with that statement but its beside the point. I just wish it didn't take  terrorist attacks and people shooting up schools and theatres to bring us closer to each other is all im saying. Remember 9/11? everyone put aside race, politics, and class for a short time. We were just americans.

There's evidence in Newfoundland, Canada they were there. New discoveries are hinting at the Chinese as well. You don't think the Chinese found the west coast of America? We don't cover them in our school books. Eurocentrism has made history a little cloudy at times…

That's just not the way it is. I'd like peace but the world doesn't work like. It never did.

Bro newfoundland is northern America  like I said. not fucking mexico. And again I never said people didn't come before the spanish. Just that the mexican civilizations were unknown the “civilized” world before the spanish trips to the americas.

Eurocentrism…look it up

I know what you said. Then I said there is evidence the Chinese were in Newfoundland way before Vikings from recent findings. That's the east coast, how did they miss the west?

Are you fuckin with me? lol were are arguing about two different things man. Reread these last few posts. For a third time im not disputing the scandinavians(vikings) or the chinese discovery of america. Just reiterating on my post from yesterday that spanish discovered the mexican civilizations and made it known to the rest of the world. Of course people were there before the spanish.  your trying to make an argument where there isn't one

Nope, we're in the same boat here.

You see the world from a Eurocentric view. I'm open to new ideas because of all the lies they've already told me.

Lots of people believe the Chinese actually did reach Mexico in the 1400's and found civilizations already there. Some speculate they already knew they were there before that. They weren't as barbaric with their findings as the white man and didn't feel a need to conquer, or were to busy just trying to map out the rest of the world. There's a lot of evidence to support it.

What about the Pyramids in South America? That's the real interesting stuff here. What about the Sumerian and Egyptian similarities with early civilizations in South America? Now there's a story…

What evidence exactly? so they just showed up looked around and left? Were is the written record of this? Lots of people say theres evidence to support the theory that aliens helped build the pyramids in both the maya and egyptian cultures. Doesn't make it true lol. I just say the spanish discovered them because thats the general consensus of historians. you know, people who dedicate their entire lives to history. Yes im open to new ideas and perspectives all the time, i gotta see the evidence to tell me otherwise first though

The best evidence. They mapped it out first with trade routes and all.

They're still finding even older maps from China that seemed to know it too surprised

ok I just read up on it and it might have some merit to it.  This article from 1900 says there was chinese temple discovered in the state of  sonora with chinese characters written on walls. They think that maybe ancient chinese migrated there a long time ago. So its a possibility that the maya was actually descendent of chinese culture So if the chinese were always looking for trade routes then why forget about these people that had settled here?  Ive been searching for evidence of this migration but all I can find is people claiming there is evidence not actual evidence. Either way bro im still not wrong because the civilization was forgotten by the rest of the world. They were still isolated regardless of where their origins lie

We don't know if they forgot them. Trade routes could mean they were helping them grow. Then Europeans raped and pillaged when they found it like they do to most countries. There seems to be somewhat of a cold “history” war going on with Europe and China throughout the ages and that could be why they decided to leave it alone. They also had many civil wars going on themselves.

There's even evidence from a Chinese shipwreck in Africa around the time.

As long as the general consensus is “I'm right”, it must be difficult to find the truth. We don't know shit about early Chinese either but their dynasties date before Christ, and that's a fact.
