Track by track review and rating Disc 1

  1. Master of Puppets- A news story leads the track off and gives way to a simple beat.  The verses are well written and intermixed are quotes from Charles Manson.  A lot of video game references and it works.  Nice track to start off the CD.  7/10
  2. That’s Bukshot (Feat. Krizz Kaliko)- A very hard hitting beat backed with really heavy guitar riffs.  Great verses and Krizz Kaliko on the hook work well to make this track work.  9/10
  3. Blood on My Hands- This track has another slow beat.  This allows the verses to be well heard and received.  A simple hook rounds out the track.  8/10
  4. The Bully (Feat. Kidcrusher)- Great horror core beat here.  Bukshot throws the term Juggalo in here, the first time this has happened perhaps.  Kidcrusher pushes the Hook in the track but fails to meet the intensity of the verses.  7/10
  5. Already Dead- A short interlude of a Charles Manson speech.  N/A
  6. Helter Skelter- Nice beat in this track.  Great mix of words spoken and performed in the verses.  A simple hook but effective in its purpose.  8/10
  7. Mayday (Feat Wrekonize)- A complex beat leads this track.  The verses are very well written and performed here.  The hook changes the flow and vibe of the track that both works and doesn’t work at the same time.  9/10
  8. Gasoline (Feat. Twisted Insane)- The intro and beat in this track is very reminiscent of an Alfred Hitchcock movie, a nice throwback to the classics.  Twisted Insane adds a nice change of pace in the hook.  7/10
  9. Urban Legend- Simple slow beat here.  The verses are well written and performed.  Another killer hook in this one.  9/10
  10. 28 Minutes Later (Feat. Aqualeo)- A great beat in this track.  Topic shifts to zombies with the verses.  Many listeners will be hearing Aqualeo for the first time in the hook and many will be pleasantly surprised.  8/10
  11. I’m So Lost (Feat. Demi Demaree)- The beat and music in this track is a complete shift from the rest of the CD.  The beat is much more upbeat but still very complex.  The verses are very deep and Demi Demaree’s hook adds a lot to the somber tone of the track.  9/10
  12. Mr. Mayhem- This track instantly brings back the slow dark sound.  The verses are once again very nice.  The hook is dark and the gothic chorus in the background adds to the dark nature of the CD as a whole.  9/10
  13. I Didn’t Write The Music- Another Charles Manson interlude here.  N/A
  14. Evil Never Sleeps (Feat. Stevie Stone)- The beat has that metal guitar in the background again.  Great verses and a devastating hook by Stevie Stone make this one of the best tracks on the album.  10/10
  15. Instigator- A driving beat leads this track from the start.  This track is entirely about instigating or inciting violence.  The second verse contains the term Juggalette which is a nice shout out to the Family.  This track continues what the last track started.  10/10
  16. Alone With You (Feat. T-Razor)- Bukshot is joined by fellow label mate T-Razor here.  A slow melodic beat lead us into a track about relationships.  The verses are good and speak on issues everyone can relate to.  The one let down in the track is the hook.  8/10
  17. Jason Mask- A very complex beat in this track.  The verses and hook contain many references to horror icons such as Jason, Michael Myers, and Leatherface.  Overall another track completely dedicated to the horror core sound.  8/10
  18. Feel My Pain (Feat. Sutter Kain)- A nice beat.  Sutter Kain adds a great hook to verses that would stand against many.  The content is well presented and the mix is done very well.  9/10
  19. Predator (Feat Crucifix)- A much darker and hard hitting beat.  The verses play well off of each other.  The two differing styles melt really well and keep the listener on edge for what is coming next.  The hook is well done and rounds the track out nicely.  10/10
  20. Running Right at You (Skit)- Our last Charles Manson speech.  N/A

Overall Disc Rating:  8.5/10

Track by Track Review Disc 2

  1. Bloodletting (Skit)- Very short intro.  N/A
  2. Don’t Go There (Feat Potluck & Demi Demaree)- The beat has a dark feel and continues the theme of the first disc very well.  Adding Potluck to such a hard core horror track shows their diversity as artists.  All the featured artists hold their own and round out the track nicely.  The hook matches the darkness of the beat well.  A great start to the second album.  9/10
  3. Let Us In (Feat Jelly Roll, Caskey, Rittz & Crucifix)- The feel and beat in this track are a complete shift to a more club/mainstream feel. That shift was definitely not expected but it works with the featured artists.  7/10
  4. Survival Of The Fittest (Feat Irv Da Phenom & I4NI)- The beat is slower and has a lot of electronic sounds in the background.  The verses flow very well and work great with the theme and sound of the hook.  8/10
  5. Maniac (Feat Grewsum, KidCrusher, & Mr. Grey)- Another slow, dark horror core beat in this one.  Grewsum and KidCrusher shine in this track.  Mr Grey rounds out the hook and makes the track complete.  9/10
  6. I Want My Cake (Feat Slugga Boyz & Kia Hampton)- Another drastic shift in sound with the beat here.  The track is all about word play in comparing sex to cake but they pull it off well.  The verses are creative and the hook is enjoyable.  7/10
  7. Knock Ya Head Off (Feat Grave Plott, Hostile, & Big Dre)- The beat in this track is very aggressive in tone but not speed.  The theme of the track is “Don’t fuck with us” and is stated direct and simple.  The featured artists add great verses while continuing the theme throughout the song.  9/10
  8. Vikings (Feat Madchild, SNAP, & T-Razor)- The beat in this track is simple but effective.  Madchild shows the listener why he is making waves in his comeback here.  The hook is simple but works.  This track will have the fans bobbing their heads.  9/10
  9. Slum Life (Feat Krayzie Bone, Delusional, & Crucifix)- A dark and complex beat drive the track.  The addition of Krayzie Bone adds a nice change of pace in the verses.  Delusional and Crucifix make this track a banger.  9/10
  10. Timber (Feat Haystack, David Ray, & Jelly Roll)- This beat is very complex mixing smooth bass and a nice piano.  The track is a down south banger with the featured artists.  The hook is simple and easy to sing along with.  Everyone in the track flows well together and shows why KY is a hotspot for this style of rap.  8/10
  11. Swim With Sharks (Feat Koshir, Cognito, & Kung Fu Vampire)- Another dark simple beat here.  Every verse is brought hard in this track.  The hook is very simplistic but listeners will find themselves singing along almost immediately.  9/10
  12. Who Am I? (Feat The R.O.C., Scum, & PSYCHOJesus)- This is without a doubt a horror core track from the beginning.  All of the featured artists are very established in the genre.  The downside of the track is the hook; it just doesn’t fit with the verses.  7/10
  13. It Aint No Thang (Feat Smackola of Dirty Wormz, Whitney Peyton, T-Bo, & Lil Witness)- The music backing reminds the listener of a Kung Fu Vampire beat.  The verses flow very well with the beat and the hook while simple sticks with the heavy hitting lyrics.  8/10
  14. Skateboard Shoes (Feat Mixed Magic, Dirtball, & XV)- The music here is a hybrid of true horror core sound and smooth west coast flavor.  The highlight verse belongs to Dirtball for sure in this track.  The hook switches up the flow of the track and that works for all the verses except his due to his quick flow.  7/10
  15. Right Here (Feat Shevy Chase of Elephant Room, Josh Woods, & Johnny Spanish)- A smooth beat and melodic music track back this one.  The track starts with a chopper verse and gives way to a singing hook then works back into a slower verse.  These shifts make the track intriguing and keep the listener waiting to see what is coming next.  8/10
  16. These Guys (Feat Bizarre of D12 & Fury)- The beat here is very slow and very wicked.  The verses are slow and deliberate.  The hook is simple and has a very direct message here.  8/10
  17. Villains (Feat The Underground Avengers Boondox & Claas)- A quicker beat ushers in one of the biggest movements in the genre, The Underground Avengers.  Bukshot, Claas and Boondox all prove in this track that no matter what labels they might be signed with they can make some of the best Underground music out there as a unit.  Great track to end the CD.  10/10

Overall Disc Rating:  8.25/10

Conclusion:  Bukshot comes back with a deluxe edition to his previously released Helter Skelter.  Two new tracks were added to the original disk and both work very well with those previously released tracks fans got at the Gathering Of The Juggalos.  The second disk brings a different feel with the addition of some featured artists.  While most of those combinations are ones fans would expect there are some that leave us wondering “Why haven’t these guys done this before.”  Bukshot takes a lot of chances with the second album and it is hard to find one that didn’t payoff.  The Underground Avengers finish the album and remind true fans of the genre that there are still people in the business who want to bring solid music, good rhymes, and well produced albums to the fan base.  If you liked the free release of this album you should go out and buy this album and show your support.
