2 Skare is a rap artist from Amarillo, TX.  Here is a bio he sent us:

I’ve been involved in music officially since I was 13. I started out playing guitar in small bands with groups of friends. Things never worked out, I guess because musically we never went in the direction that I wanted to go. I started the music I do today originally in 2007 using the name Hatchet Tha Clown, I later on changed to Raggy P, then changed my name to FOUD, but I decided I didn’t like that name either so I changed my name to 2 Skared, and did my first live performance at the Gathering Of The Juggalos 2009. I later on decided to drop the D and 2 Skare was pronounced as my official stage name.

In early 2010 I released my first full length album entitled Sex, Drugs, And Murder. It was originally going to be called Murder Mix: Valume 1, but I changed the title due to other artists and producers using similar titles.

In late 2010 I did a show at Lizards Bar and Grill in Huntsville Texas to perform songs from the at the time up coming cd “Chronic Murderbation” the follow up of “Sex, Drugs, And Murder” to give friends and fans a sample of what was to come. As 2010 came to an end I continued working on Chronic Murderbation and finally finished the production in early 2011.

In 2012 I released the Here 2 Skare EP on Friday January 13th to celebrate the first Friday The 13th of the year. The EP also features a 13th hidden track called “Friday The 13th”. After the release of the EP I did 5 shows in the Amarillo Texas area opening for acts such as Mars, Masta Mind, and Miss Kisa. As the end of 2012 came near I began working on my 3rd official album which will be titled “2 Skare”, and will continue to do so in the year 2013.

Track by track review and rating

1.      Intro- Basic Intro.  N/A

2.      Here 2 Skare- The beat and music are good.  The hook is average but fills the track ok.  The content is what you would expect from the title.  6/10

3.      Wicked County- This track is a big improvement over the first one.  The content is good and the theme of the track is nice.  9/10

4.      Kill All The Time- The music backing of the track is good but lyrically it is uncreative and leaves a lot to be desired.  Sounds like mass processed Horror core and that is not a good thing.   4/10

5.      Bloody 13- The level between the vocals and the music need a lot of work on this track.  Once again the content needs more variety.  5/10

6.      Can You Feel It?-  This track is a slap in the face of religion.  Still too canned as far as Horror Core goes.  The hook is good but the verses don’t do it justice.  4/10

7.      Get Ya W.I.C.K.E.D. On- Most would think this is a tribute to Twiztid by the chorus alone, but sadly not so.  This track is a blatant rip off of their W.I.C.K.E.D. album and for that reason I cannot rate this very high.  5/10

8.      Outro- :26 sec outro.  N/A

9.      Friday The 13th- A very generic hook.  Obvious tribute to Jason and it works on that level.  The music once again is good but the lyrics need some work.  5/10

Conclusion:  Unfortunately this CD tries too hard to be another Psychopathic release or at least fit with them.  If you want to spend a half hour of your time listening to a campy, unimaginative, and unoriginal horror core release, go download it and listen.  Fortunately this free release as purchasing it is not recommended.
