Just over the horizon, past the sunset, and slightly underneath mainstream America not too far away from your own, in the small town of Prone-o-ville, lived a simple man exposed to the most toxic and horrible skills ever laid down in wicked shit, underground game. After prolonged exposure to the likes of Intrinzik, McNastee, and AJ Jordan the effects of the whackness became pretty apparent as Grewsum slowly began to take on a radioactive look, becoming the ‘TALK SHIT AVENGER’! Here to save the underground and restore it to the status of what it once was is the Talk Shit Avenger pushing his mop bucket of concoctions mixed together with 21 tracks packed full of more flavor than two packs of Nestle.

In true mixtape fashion Grewsum is taking some of the best beats around, jacking them, removing the vocals, and then serving them up like Oscar Meyer only this is Oscar Tyler. Jacking beats from Rhianna, Chris Brown, Eminem, and even Snoop Dogg the beats are like redneck tank-tops, beaters. This MC is more than just a pretty face in the town of Prone-o-ville, he’s here to clean up the mess made by previous artists who wanted nothing more than to play off of the juggalo gimmick.

Armed with the auto-tune affect, battle-raps for days, along with former label mates; Claas, J-Dogg, Kombine,Emcee Bonus, Saint Sinna and Tha Missin Link accompanied by Badluck of M:I, GI, and Josh Ludley Grewsum is here taking shots at those who he felt needed it the most calling out all who dare to step. Every track lives up to the title of the mixtape ‘The Talk Shit Avenger’, but one that stands out mostly is the first song Taking My Ball Freestyle with Grew calling out two of the previously listed individuals at the top of this review. Another song A Letter to Chris is a song about McNastee, something that seems to be a personal note to who was once a friend but that friendship sank.

The mixtape also features a slew of guest host spots from the likes of underground rappers like Mars, Claas, and Psycho Jesus along with a collage of clips from Troma’s “The Toxic Avenger”. These tracks are taking fools back to school on a school bus flow and the best thing about it is that it’s for free! You read correct, FREE! Originally the hard copy of the mixtape was offered up as something extra you got when upon the preorder of the ‘Grewsum Toxic Tee-shirt’. A horrorcore vet, dope quotable folk bringing more beef than a cow, and The Talk Shit Avenger, Grewsum is here making his presence more felt than ever before. Be sure to get your copy unless you want to be Road Kill today.
