1/5 Of the Cleveland legends Bone Thugs N Harmony returns with his first solo record since the release of Bone’s ill-fated and much debated “Worlds Enemy”. This release finds Krayzie Bone returning more to the hardcore roots Bone fans are used to, but at the same time more mature then most rappers out these days. Not by any means meant to be taken as a full length album. This is for all intents and purposes a mixtape meant to hype up future Bone releases(of which there are many). This album features guests from all other 4 members of the Bone Thugs crew

1. Scrape The Block
Cool laid back beat with lyrics that tell the story of a neighborhood drug dealer. The flow is on point. Also features some nice harmonizing on the chorus

2. Suicide
Murderous hardcore beat laces this dark tale of revenge and murder. Krayzie Bone is in his element, doing what made Bone big in the old days. Hardcore lyrics and thumping beats, make this song a certified banger!

3. One Life
Uses the beat to NAS’s hit “one mic”. More serious song, details the pitfalls of living a life of crime. Krayzie is definitely on top of his game on this song. The lyrics and flow compliment the beat perfectly.

4. My Street Blues
Song was available on the free Bone mixtape, but it’s nice to hear a better mastered version. All the members come well! Hopefully future releases will yield more quality “world enemy”cuts. Laid back song,literally a modern day rap blues song.

5. Aint Gonna Save Em
I dont really care for this song. It’s a “ho” song. The beat is alright, the lyrics are alright, they compliment the beat well, but its just not my kinda song.

6. Hard To Let Go(Interlude)
Uses the beat to Linkin Park’s “In the End”. The only downfall is that it is criminally short at 1:15. If it was a full song it would easily be a classic! The verse he spits is absolutely beautiful over the beat.

7. What Have I Become?
Heard previously in the Bone Thugs movie “I Tried”. Dark menacing beat laces equally dark lyrics about robbery and murder,and the effects that has on the soul of said person.

8. Conversation By Myself
Dark beat, lyrics that talk of the things that go through Krayzie’s mind in relation to the industry, the world, everything in general. Classic sounding Bone song

9. Let It All Go
Another song from the free Bone mixtape…once again in better quality. Very laid back grooving track; I like it alot! More mature and not something the radio would ever support.

10. Whatcha Gon Do For Me?
I love the beat! I don’t know where it’s from, but it compliments his verses and voice so well! Song is about a woman who is using you for fame and money. MUCH better then the other “Woman”song on the album.

11. What Have We Done? (Ft Micheal Jackson)
Another song from the free Bone mixtape, this time with an extended intro with Micheal Jackson speaking about the plight of artists in the industry and how the record companies conspire against them. Very smooth song with all five members of Bone ripping their respective verses up.

While some songs are way too short, this is a nice little showcase of Krayzie Bone’s talent. Hopefully with this and the upcoming Bizzy Bone solo album “Crossroads 2010″(Which is sounding amazing), Bone can reclaim a bit of the respect they lost from their fans with the last group record. Uni-5 was butchered by Warner Bros Records to the point where Bone is currently trying to leave the label. Really good songs with good beats and good lyrics! Overall a solid 4 stars out of 5!
