I started this installment with one of three. Now I’m wrapping it up with (HeD)PE. It’s for their latest release, The DiY Guys. But what comes with it is the surprise! Discs with audio capturing one of their live shows, and for a first time ever a bonus DVD, following the band on a day-to-day type deal, reality television! The album itself is the shit. Straight up “G-punk” smacking you upside the side of your fucking HeD, Planet Earth style! Everything you could want from a (HeD)PE show minus the exhaustion, sweat, and blood. It’s loud, hard, driving, in your face, straight Hardcore, American Style. The line-up that is known as Jahred Shane(lead vocals), DJ Product(backup-vocal/DJ), Mawk(bass), Jaxon(guitar), and Tiny Bubz(drums) finally show those who don’t have the cajones what it is to be apart of their crowd without the risk of having to hurt yourself. Pussies!

The track listing on the CD is one that any concert-goer could definitely remember and get live with. Madhouse, Not ded yet, Game over, peer pressure, Sophia, the truth, RTO, Put ’em up, and Real Talk. Aside from that they’re dropping some brand new shit live on the rough and rugged side with the tracks; Niteclub in Bali, War on the middle class, Ordo ab chao, and Bloodfire. Straight up everything we’ve come to love about (HeD)PE is here hate for the Emo kids, chaos on a disc wrapped up into an hours worth of music, and Anarchy in it’s purest form.

The DVD is a whole other story within itself. It’s a visual for the audience to take home and look at whenever they so desire. It’s a look into the universe that (HeD)PE has built around themselves and dwell. With sections on their life on the road, on tour and behind the scenes, paternity suits with Jahred, DJ Products shenanigans making life for BJ their tour manager a living hell. Spanning over subjects like conspiracy, what a “GER” is, smoking the ganja, and having an enjoyable time so to say with the ladies behind the closed doors of the tour bus. Then still amidst all of the story telling, schooling of information, chaos, and more hate on the Emo kids then they could handle. There is clips of a live show in L.A. at the Key Club (I think) from a set that would definitely look fun as fuck to be in the crowd for. There’s more people there than Peabody’s getting hype, live, wild or whatever the fuck you want to call it. Whatever it may be one word could be used in all aspects to describe it “fun”.

If you are apart of the underground movement and consider yourself an “internet troop” pick up this addition to your arsenal of musical weapons of mass destruction. IF you like punk music, go get it. If you like funky-ass hip-hop rhymes with read between the lines type meanings go get this. If you’re still sleeping in the matrix of lies that this countries government has formed and need to open your fucking eyes, go get it. If you don’t want it FUCK YOU and keep moving on down the line. Emo Queer.
