Back to back, after the newest release ‘Armed to the Teeth’ the Swollen Members, Rob the Viking, Mad Child, and Prevail, have released a latest installment to their catalog, ‘Greatest Hits: Ten Years of Turmoil.’

This album is a best of the best from the best repping the North West. It’s an installment showcasing the talent that was put together to form the foundation of this group whose fan base spans over different nations. Recently ending their Swollen Members Armed to the Teeth European Tour, the Swollen Members put this out for their fans to pick up as like an ultimate playlist; 18 ruthless tracks fastened together to make your bass hit better.

Consisting of tracks from their debut release, ‘Balance’ until their Subnoize debut, ‘Armed to the Teeth.’ A good portion of the tracks are from the Battle Axe Records label from when the group was compiled of the three core members plus Moka Only bringing in the suave, soulful vibe on the hooks, bridges, choruses, and even a verse from time to time.

As the album begins to play through you can hear the progression not only in the production, but also in the lyrics that were written the group was spitting. Once you get through the first group of songs, past track 12, you hear a few cuts from ‘Armed to the Teeth’; ‘Pornstar’, and ‘Warrior’. These are tracks after a transition period for the group; after Mad Child kicked his Percocet & Oxycontin addictions and the addition of the newest Battle Axe Warrior, Tre Nice.

The package includes a DVD that opens up with interviews from each member of the group explaining a brief history of Swollen Members as a whole. Each go into vivid detail of where they have been and where they see the group going. They talk about the addition of Tre Nice and the separation from Moka Only. The group is still kicking and the clock is still ticking; Swollen Members are here to stay and this is a landmark footprint in their career “Ten Years of Turmoil.”
