High-class white trash, hooligan, any way you see him or call it, his name is Big B. As a solo rapper or apart of the group “OPM”, Big B came into contact with the OG Sub Noize ratz, KMK, through the motocross world and somehow something must’ve clicked. OPM and Big B had signed deals to be apart of the vastly expanding record label that is known as Suburban Noize.

Hailing from LV, Nevada B’s managed to catch the attention of living hip-hop legends Mellow Man Ace (did beats for Ice-T) and Bronek. Debuting in 2004 on SNR with the album “High Class White Trash” he’s returned with newest of installments that’s just for all you Big B fanatics, “More to Hate”.

I’ma just whip out the ginzu and cut right to it because I can’t do anything else but keep it real and drop the info for ya’ll to peep. Big B’s sound hasn’t been so appealing to me over the last couple of years from what I’ve heard. Yet on each of the projects he’s involved in I find myself like at least one or two tracks, even if it is out of twenty-one tracks. This album in fact, I liked, more than anything else I heard on one disc by him. Some of his flows I find sloppy and off beat, but the lyrical content always makes up for it with the tales, stories, and woven words he spins for the murder-go-round we call life; “Real as They Come”, “We Can Smoke” ft. KMK, and “Million Miles” ft. Tech N9ne.

Some of his stuff I don’t like is how he has that sound with the country twang in the beats. I don’t what it is but that sound drives me nuts as fuck. Sometimes I can withstand it, but for the most part that shit throws me into a hazy daze leaving me comatose from bouncing my head off the walls. Don’t get me wrong Big B is still the shit and whatnot but I just don’t like all of his shit. You can get all the people some of the time, some of the people most of the time, but never All of us at once, fucker!

My favorite track on this album would have to be “We Can Smoke” ft. KMK. It’s a throwback to “We Can Dance” just way better for today’s generation! (Pepsi product placement) I like how they took that song and produced this phat-ass beat to blow a phat ass bleezy to. The song is pretty self-explanatory saying “Yea it’s illegal, but we’re gonna smoke still, bitch-ass, smitch from the east.” This attitude in the song isn’t what drives me to it, seeing as the Kings have whole albums dedicated to this. But the rapping, the producing, everything to deal with song is amazingly goofy. “Million Miles” ft. Tech N9ne is fresh as fuck as well, Big B and Tech N9ne on track together? WHAT?!? Yea it’s right they are, B’s verses definitely come from the heart and it shows through in the verses he drops. Tech peels the mic back like a banana, eats it, then spits it back out into the speakers to your ears!

Big B has his work still cut out for him, but has so me good ass teachers showing him the ropes on the road. Every time the Kings go on tour Big B and his label-mate The Dirtball embrace their fatigues and take stage as the Subnoize Souljahs. Whether it’s rockin’ the mic right during the night, making a cameo on A&E’s ‘Inked’, or laying down newer tracks for ya’ll to catch a fix this front line veteran on the underground/mainstream war will be keeping it real as himself; real, funny, high class, white trash, but most of all himself. (The only thing you can call all your own [if you’re an innovator!] FUCK THE IMMITATORS!
