With no intro, this album jumps right into the bidness. The first track is called “Let’s Go” and the beat is really sick. Right off the bat this album shows you why Richter made a solo album, because this sound wouldn’t fit with the rest of KMK. This is Richter sounding exactly the way he wants to. I can’t say overall this album is better than a KMK record, but I will say it is the shit to see where Richter is coming from. With the song “At It Again” he proves that he is an excellent rapper with no gift at writing hooks. The hook to this song barely makes sense, but the beat is ill and the verses are classic party shit. The next track “Evolution” has one of the sickest beats on the record. This song has a more serious attude than the first two cuts, but Richter sounds versatile enough to capture multiple emotions on this LP.

Whoever Brawdcast is, I assume he is some cat from Placentia due to the nature of this song. This cut is the shit, not to mention the first guest appearance on the record. So far I’ve heard the first four cuts on this record and I will already recommend going out to buy this record. Like I said before, its hip hop Richter style and not so much a clone of KMK’s sound, so don’t go into the store thinking it it what it ain’t. On “Remember That Summer” Richter gets to singing. This is (naturally) a super chill track with an acoustic guitar and lots of back up vocals. What a feel good track. It’s only appropriate that the sun is bangin in Seattle as I write this. The next track has someone that I dickride in my reviews quite frequently, so it’s hard to imagine I wouldn’t be stoked about this one.

Another feel good cut called “Nice Cold One” featuring Dirtball. One of the quirkiest beats on the record, this track is somewhat funny. I like how all of these tracks convey a different emotion. Richter’s style is the shit by himself. It’s no surprise he has good chemistry with other, he probably has the chemistry to fit anywhere. Brawdcast is back on this next track again, and I’m not hatin on any of the songs on this record yet, 8 tracks deep. “Puff Pass” is the shit. My favorite on this record so far. “No One Really Knows” is a dead serious track, following a banger like Puff Pass, this is the kind of shit to make you really think when you get high, you know? Wrapping that track up, we get into the first skit on the album.

With no signs of slowing down, the album continues to churn out badass cuts. By this time into the record, I’m already stoked to see that Richter is on the upcoming Strange Noize tour. I have to figure out how to get to Portland for it, but regardless. His solo set is bound to be the shit. Right after I say something like that comes the first track on the album I can say I would skip over. “I’m Going Crazy” seems like its one of those tracks that should have been cut from the album. It feels too different from the rest of the album, and I’m all about diversity, but if you heard it you would understand what I mean. Its too in your face for me. “Gangsta Bitch” with D-Loc is the shit however. The hook is repetitive but that doesn’t necessarily ruin the song completely. The verses and sampling in this song are top notch.

“Hello World” is a reflective slow track that begins the descent of the album. It must be slowing down now, since its almost over right? Still. The material at the end of the record is far from stale. This next song is called “D” and it seems to be a D-Loc solo track. Its dope as fuck but this confuses the fuck out of me so that is all I will say about that one. “Stand Up” brings Big B into the picture. This song’s lyrics are some of the best and most thought provoking on the album. I feel good about sitting here and listening to the album from start to finish up to this point. I bet Richter felt even better! Wrapping it up with a cut called “Celebration” this one is repetitive as fuck for the first two minutes then he breaks into a verse.

Overall, this album was really good. It was very different from what I expected before I heard it. I give it a 7/10 and my favorite song is “Puff Pass” for sure. That track is a fuckin banger. I highly suggest everybody peep this record since its a new sounds from a familiar face. Holla!
