The sequel to what was already a mind-blowing Xperience comes part two, Kosmic Therapy. If you had been sleeping on it and never did check out the first here’s what you’ve missed. A trip through the deepest confines the mind has to offer. A personal Radical Audio, Visual Experience (R.A.V.E.) for you to have on your own when you don’t have the skrilla to make it to an actual one. Consisting of a “trip” of sorts through a visual and audio experience to leave you in awe and wanting more. The Kings have hit the studio to select various tracks, verses, beats, and anything else they felt needed to be in this project to tweak it for you the fan to check out and geek it.

The First was quite trippy I do admit, but this one is more laid back and stoney where the first one was trying to be more psychedelic. This is equally psychedelic but it’s more in depth. What I mean is that it seems as if you’re walking trails, flying over mountains, or like Alice falling down the rabbit hole into the Kottonmouth Kingdom. Through the solar system of a galaxy not too far away in the near distant future on a planet unnamed you’re eased into a euphoric music feeling never encountered. It’s a familiar feeling yet a far different place. We received the radio signal slowly echoing to become Johnny Richter’s voice asking, “Can anybody hear me?” Obviously you did because you heard because you found the coordinates hurdling towards your destination.

The visuals within this program are definitely something worth watching. It’s an upgrade, like going from carrier pigeons to cell phones. Yea, it’s like that. More than just pictures behind the colors there’s clips of whole videos/footage. Not too far into we are shown that we’re actually watching this all through somebody’s eyes. A tripped-out, ripped-out green man who’s greeted by a camel, telling him he needs to wake up and open his eyes!

What I enjoy mostly about both of these projects, this one especially is how the KMK can remix their music. These beats for some reason seem a tad bit better then the original cuts. For example: “Still Ballin”. The PTB chant from the rip-hop track off of “Cloud Nine” is cleverly done as a hip-hop track. Aside from that hook and idea of song they add a variety of verses from “Put it Down ft. Cypress Hill” which sound like they’re being spit quicker due to being on the slower beat. Much props are deserved to P-Nice, Kumagai, and Xavier. With Maximillian laying down bass on “Somewhere Between Nowhere” this album is something to listen to when you want to get laid back and feel the good tunes, vibes, and times.
