Twiztid! One word which so perfectly describes these two giants of the underground society, The Monoxide Child and Jamie Madrox. Twiztid beats, Twiztid hair do’s, Twiztid lyrics, Twiztid life-styles, and Twiztid music made by Twiztid-serial killin’ juggalos for Twiztid serial-killin’ juggalos!
A highly anticipated album by this dynamic-duo, shaking the soil from which we stand, will surely blow the ears off that lump you call a melon and leave you in a daze wishing you had the slightest idea of what was going on. Insanity wrapped in music genious is delivered in this 59.5 minute stint set forth by Jerry Mailbox and The Peroxide Child.
Summoning the assistance of many Independent heavy-hitters Twiztid captures a new essence to that good ‘ol Carnival sound that has been seeped, bumped, blarred, or blasted out of your speakers of any sort. There’s so much talent woven togther to be spun round and round like the Murder go Round to keep you satisfied until the new Tech N9ne or Blaze albums come around. Combining the magnanamous forces of nature known as The Dayton Family, DJ’s Quick & Clay, The Dogg Pound, Blaze (yours and my dead homie), The ROC, Bizzar and Proof (R.I.P.) of D12, Hed PE, Tech N9ne & Krizz Kalico, Potluck, and of course I.C. Motherfuckin’ P, Twiztid throws it all into the blender concocting this fresh mix of Sex, drugs, money, and murder.
If you’ve been waiting just as long as I to hear this then you already know how gratifying it is to hear something that you knew you wanted to hear, it’s just you were waiting to recieve it at the right time. From when you first look at the cover the story has already started. It’s a Dark Carnvialish looking Uncle Sam staring you straight in the eyes from his soulless holes. Upon beginning of the spinning, the man opens his jacket and a force stronger than that of a black hole pulls you in. You stand after having fallen into a relam of darkness, horror, mystery, and many other things that leave more questions than answers in your mind. You begin walking down the path and two shadowy figures, twitchin’ and twiztin, slowly glide torward you whispering possible latin things. As they draw closer and closer you begin to understand more and more. What was once not understandable is now so clear that you can help but listen. They only wave you down instructing you to follow them through this escapade of freeks, creeps, and juggalos. Passing under a sign all rusty and worn from erosion stating: “Welcome Home”. Under the sign there was a gate that was broken down and boarded up. Then it suddenly hits you, your in the legendary Dark Carnival grounds. Caught off guard the first thing you see from the corner of your eye is a Monster wearing a hatchet man chain/charm fashioned from intestines and brains sporting it like it’s all the same.
Seeing you’re all shook up from the little you’ve already seen the two turn and ask “Are you scared?” Still quivering, and they can tell, they say “There’s so many more that are Jus’ like me, that will Bussyoheadopen without thinking twice trying to Hurt someone.” Lifting your head from vomiting due to a weird aroma you couldn’t explain you eagerly chase after Twiztid’s sillhouettes inching into a side tent with a green smoke emerging from the doorway. You peak in to see not only Twiztid but Proof and Bizzar of D12 sitting there conversing of how that “Weak Shitz” out by tossing the stems and seeds aside of “My” favorite bitch, mary-jane. Telling of different Wet dreamz each has had by recieving a bag of schwag instead of fluff from them stingy fiendish, thieves. Being lit from the second-hand smoke Twiztid leads you to a cemetary and you begin to think twice about where it is you are and where it is you’re headed. Tech N9ne, Big Krizz, and Potluck are spread out with, bodies upon bodies all laying around. “You’re the new guy, you’ve got to bury ’em all, mitch bade!” blurts Tech. Not wanting to seem like a whiny bitch you do what is instructed. After it is all said and done with the group, all the side-shows you’ve seen along this trail, end up under the big top and in the center ring is both ICP and Twiztid kickin’ off the beginning of the Monsters Ball, the show/rave/party end it all, real big (the only way Psychopathic knows how to do it).
As the CD finally ends you wake up one final time with your headphones on the wrong ear and the feeling that you have been out for a bit of time. Your vision a little blurry, voice a little raspy, and green smoke still seeping out of your pockets (my favorite! haha) you stare at the case of what you just bought. Realizing it was the rawest of the Raw Deal’s and you are now left with this question: Will you or will you not go on to be a J-U-double G-A-L-O!
