The time has come and the end has begun. With the re-release of his Infect debut, Badluck, has hit us with his incarnation of the extermination of all the worlds’ nations. Over the past three or four years, along with Mission:Infect, Badluck has adapted and changed his stance since the passing of long time friend, Fed Up, former partner in rhyme of the group Medula. Since then Luck has done nothing more than sit back and watch chaos unfold from lands far and wide, even in places in which there is no where to hide. From higher plateaus of Asia to the lowest sewers under the alleyways in Delaware people have been living life similar to that of ancient cities Sodom and Gomorra. It’s been a life of debauchery and overindulgence and everyone is blame.
Sitting atop his rabbit hole, having just escaped the Wonderland scam, not allowing himself to become another statistic in this underground game something has clicked inside Badluck’s mind leaving him with this: ‘The End of Days (re-release)’. There are a few different reasons as to why he would need to release a previously dropped album; one of course would be the fact of belonging to a record label that has more bark then a bite had him in a contract and basically robbing him blind. Once the Wonderland Scam was broken through and the 7th Seal was open Luck quickly released the original ‘End of Days’ a little more than a year ago. Yet due to a year jocked full of bullshit, hater-inspired antics, and possible lawsuit threats new tracks were added to the mix and a new logo in place of the two M16’s, gas mask, and triforce.
Aside from the constant moving around and raising of another life Badluck has managed to drop one of the dopest albums on the underground today. By underground I am not talking about Psychopathic, Strange, or Suburban Noize. Those three labels are no longer underground, yet still not mainstream; they’re big enough to have recognizable names and artists, but just beneath the mainstream. They’re like the mainstreams’ little brother that is just trying to stand out among the stars. Including all of the fellow artists past and present on Mission:Infect this album is one matching the spark to the gas and helping ignite the infect movement. Including featured spots by Saint Sinna, Claas, Rude Boi, T.O.N.E-Z, Green Vilin, and a few other underground up and comers this is something you shouldn’t sleep on. When the End of Days begin no amount of money will be able to save you, except the 4.99$ on the digital download……we’ve all been warned.
