It’s been going on 10 years now since we heard “I Need Drugs” when we were all introduced to a jewish rapper from the Glenwood Projects located in the borough which has produced rap legends such as The Beastie Boys, Notorious B.I.G, and Jay-Z…Booklyn, New York named Necro. We were also introduced to a drug addicted old man named Howie with the video “I Need Drugs” now flash forward from 2000 to today, 2010. We now have DIE! the brand new LP from Necro.

Backtrack 3 years to his last release “Death Rap” which was loaded with tons of heavy metal infulenced beats and a slew of metal legends as guests from Scott Ian to Ray Alder to name a few. After the 2007 Hallowicked Tour Necro was asked at an instore to promote the record what is next for him. and he said “all beats will be rap”. And that’s what DIE! is all full of. There are no guests on this album whatsoever except for a skit Kid Joe did called “Bed Bugs” and Necro and Ill Bill’s Uncle Howie performs the intro to “DIE!” which was the final “words of widsom” Howie gave the fans before his passing. Necro even went as far as Dedicating DIE! to the memory of his Uncle Howie which is very fitting. =]

“asBESTos” Starts out the album out with straight up east coast wicket shit. The beat on the other hand…he’s used the loop and sample before on “Bury You With Satan” so it was a massive disappointment beat wise..the lyrics were pretty wicket…but mild. “Pit” at first sounded like a porno flick tune till the sound of death rap starts filling up your eardrums. “Thugcore Cowboy” ok…the lyrics and beat is good…but Thugcore Cowboy as the name of the song? WHAT THE FUCK MAN!? worse songtitle ever! “DIE!” is a song that should’nt give u a tear but once u start it and hear the late Uncle Howie talk for the final time…it’s gonna jerk a tear or 2. “Set It” is typical east coast Hardcore Gangsta shit here…something not heard since I think 1997 [bout one year before rap decide to go gay with auto-tune and stupid pop songs]. If you need to start a fight with someone at the gathering this year? “Brutalized” will spark the mood right up. Necro goes east coast yet again with “Serpent’s Bite” which just helps rebuild hip hop’s credibility back up a lil. Need to get ya girl wet? Than turn on “The Kink Panther” cuz it’ll get a dick hard and a pussy wet right away. “Hey Now” is another Charlie-inspired track which was last done with “Pre-Fix For Death”. Finnaly…theres a song out there for assholes like myself…”The Asshole Anthem”…nuff said! THANK YOU NECRO! “Sorcerer of Death’s Construction” is a New York style rap. Just going ballsdeep and not giving up with that rap. Necro is showing that he’s as hardcore as he’ll ever be. And Necro goes Concept with the Vietnam-war movie inspired “First Blood” which samples the classic movie “First Blood” which I feel is awesome as fuck! “Thin Line Between Love & Hate” is another classic song about stupid groupies who do anything to get on the top brought to you by Necro. “Bedbugs” is fucking funny as hell! NUFF SAID! Necro finally responds to Sutter Kain on “Viva Necro” which was almost all freestyle. “F.U.B.A.R.” well for those of you who don’t know what FUBAR means [besides those who got an account on that adult social network claiming to be a bar.] FUBAR means Fucked Up Beyond All Recognition which means many things…for this song. It’s getting the shit kicked outta ya giving you another Great Fight song! Finally we got what has become Necro’s most contraversial song to date [theres even petitions online wanting this song banned from live performances]. And that song is “The Human Traffic King (White Slavery Part 2)” the sequel to the classic Necro/Ill Bill song from Brutality Part 1 back in 2003. Like the first one It’s all about the human sex slave market and how easy it is to get involved in it from a party to just being kidnapped on the streets. There’s no problem with the song so I don’t see why women want the song banned. It’s spreading awareness…Jesus Christ

Now I enjoyed this album but it’s not his best work..But he gets an A For Effort and I do suggest getting this album. 4 outta 5.

I Also enclosed the Alt Cover which Universal Rejected before they could let Fontana Distribute the album. Enjoy.

REST IN PEACE UNCLE HOWIE! YOU’LL BE MISSED!
