This compilation of dead bodies, thugs, slugs, bitches, and drugs took more time to make than the deadman Blaze himself has been rapping it seems. Take a moment with me please, Juggalo to Juggalo/lette, remember that rumor started that Blaze was making a new CD after the Colton Grundy release? Well after years of “editing” and mixing we finally get what we were suppose to have at least by LAST HALLOWEEN. Now because it’s our dead homie, I’m gonna compare this CD in high regard to his early shit; Blaze ya Dead Homie EP and 1 less G N The Hood.

Production on this CD = superb, Lyrics on this CD = greatness, and delivery on this CD = madness trapped in a bottle.

1.) Production – Shaggy 2 Dope, DJ Clay, the R.O.C., Butch and Fritz Vankosky, Scott Summer and Randy Lynch, as well as Underrated of Lost Koast Productions.
2.) Lyrics – As most know Blaze doesn’t write all of his shit, but he performs it better than a magician pulling a rabbit out the hat.
3.) Delivery – Blaze’s delivery and unique voice make it unmistakably hard to forget his name once he gets stuck in your head.

Clockwork Gray, is the fourth installment of Blaze’s solo career in this rap game. Definitely not his best work, because nothing fucks with the Blaze EP, but it’s so close. With tracks like Blaze Up, Crypt Keeper, Toe Taz N’ Body Bagz, Wishing Well, and Escape Artist, this homie can show you he has more than just one trick up his sleeve.

I could honestly say that there was only one song on this album that I couldn’t find myself getting into/feeling at all, Egg Plantz. I don’t know why, I mean the lyrics are silly as fuck but I just cant dig it, I guess I lost my shovel.

There are so many guest appearances on this CD that doesn’t change it’s greatness, but they definitely had something to chip into the pot. Big B, Boondox, Kutt Kalhoun, Madrox, Monoxide, The R.O.C., The Samhein (mother fuckin’!) Witch Killaz, and Violent J. Let me digress, SWK. Those three letters bring three individuals together who haven’t released anything under that alias since Nosferatu and blow the track up bigger than 9/11.

This album is defiantly one to go out and get if you want one of many new additions to your psychopathic collection. If you didn’t like it I’m sorry for your feelings and can’t help but shake my head in shame.
