last year was my first and i flew and took a cab from the airport. it was $90 each way but much cheaper than renting a car

@86 So I just did all my research, flights, costs, car rentals, ect, ect. It looks like I’ll be arriving one night early on the 21st and spending one night in a hotel… so I can be ready to go first thing in the morning on the 22nd. The good news is car rentals for the week go as cheap as $150-$200 which isnt a issue for me. meaning… I got you homie. I’ll swoop you when your bus comes in 8am. *As long as my circumstances don’t change at work in the next 2 months… which most likely they wont* just PM me your # and we’ll stay in touch.

Yo, any chance you’d be down to split the cost of the room and the car rental? I’ll be flying in a day early, too. From LA. We might even end up on the same flight.

Flying is definitely the cheapest option for sure, but not the only way. I’m from the San Diego area and drive out each year with a couple buddies. It’s almost become a part of the gathering for us at this point and is fun as all hell. I suggest at least once, if you can get the time and cash, you take the long way and enjoy the road

We’ll see you if you go to the Faygoluver’s Meet-up Massacre. The forum member are going to be meeting there. It hasn’t been set yet, I don’t think, exactly where it is going to be but the times will probably be the same as previous years: 12 noon and 12 midnight every day/night of the gathering. I think it will take place somewhere around Bizzaro World or the Faygo Bar… at least at first, then like last year, end up at the Pigg Trap or Camp Scruffy or whatever it ended up being called.

FUUUUCKKK! This is the first year since ’06 where I haven’t done the “eh, I’d like to go if I can” shit. I’m most definitely going this year so now I have to ask: what exactly does one do to pass the time? It stopped being cold as shit here so I’ve been building fires as much as possible and trying to hang out with Juggalos more than I normally would to try to scratch the itch but damn. There’s a lot of time to kill till it happens.
