From 2 years ago, I ordered early (the 28th person ordered according to the order number) but the tickets didn’t arrive till 2 days before we left and the car pass didn’t arrive till after we left. Last year was much better. We got ours a few days after June 1st.

I don’t have a problem with it. But then again, I’ve met them, I’ve done Faygo Armageddon, etc.
I wouldn’t pay for the All Star Package myself but if someone want’s to pay to do that experience I’m ok with it. I was actually debating getting the Ballas pass this year but $400 is hard to justify for getting in 1/2 a day earlier with no RV. Plus the parkinglot party is a lot of fun.

I didn’t see any mention of them banning caution tape but if they do like last year, the attendants were making people take down caution tape so people couldn’t reserve spots. As I’ve mentioned before, I am not a fan of exclusive cliques within the juggalo family.

ive done armageddon. the ‘right’ way; stomp up and get some faygo. didnt cost me a dime.
and ive met em [well, ive never really properly ‘met’ j, but ive met everybody else multiple times], and didnt spend a second standing in a line.
strongly dislike the idea. the ability to shell out more dough than your peers does not a ‘vip’ or ‘all-star’ make. the reverse, id say.
they oughtta call it hound dog tax, as per wonkas observation. see how that goes over.

It looks like the Ballas won’t be attending the Parking Lot party.
Ticket site says
…You may park one vehicle of RV size (no 18 wheelers) or smaller at your site where it must stay until the Gathering ends. This pass also allows you and up to five other people to enter the gathering grounds one day early starting on July 21st 2015 at 6pm. Keep in mind that you and each person must also have a GOTJ ticket to enter and you will be required to remain in the Big Baller campsite area until the official start of the Gathering on July 22nd at 7am

Also implies those with a Ballas pass can’t ‘reserve’ a spot for a buddy, or use the Ballas pass to get in early and find a spot elsewhere instead.
I think this has virtually ruled out the tiny thought I’d had about renting an RV and going that route. I think.

no, I just realized they had like 15 days of vacation planned and so I will just leave a little
early while my mom/step dad take my grandpa back home to Idaho.

The whole “income equality” thing was shattered for me when I went to the auction and there were ninjas there throwing around thousands of dollars for stuff. It’s always a good idea to bring some extra dough or have it on hand but DAMN!
Never found a Youtube video of the auction but the Mystery Box sold for $4,000…
VIP at the Gathering doesn’t bother me so much. I mean, you get a bunch of stuff and a buffet. Better than waiting hours ahead of time at the autograph tent under the sun over several days for the lot of ’em. It’s just the inclusion of the Armageddon that I think might tweak a few people.
As far as the Ballas go, based on how Legend Valley does their RV packages for other events, THEY get assigned a numbered site and go there. In *this case, I’m sure there’ll be people guiding them and doing a rank and file job. I wouldn’t be the one to ask as I don’t have an RV but from what I heard, that situation was fucked last year and some people didn’t get connections ‘er some shit. Sounds like the early entry is a one way door and if they DO guide you to your spots, there’s no need/way for any taping. And seeing as they make direct mention of a number of people per, that answers the question about possible site poaching by gate jumpers. (damn I wish I could find that interview where they were talking about the taping having been a problem)

I’m SURE they will still be doing shit in the autograph tent and I’m SURE Twiztid will be there as that would be the fuckin’ STUPIDEST thing they could do to themselves; on or off Psychopathic. They know better.
I can see Twiztid MAYBE not doing autographs or them MAYBE not getting Lotus all up but there is NO way they could not at least perform…
