BUT Head Trauma is a much better hip hop/underground album overall.

R.O.C., listening to his whole solo discography, it's kind of disappointing, the only time I think he's been at all good was on some early house of Krazees, like Homebound shit. Oh, he also does great verses when featured on a song. The Welcome to The Dark Side album was pretty good, but the rest kind of sucked. I personally think it's his production. lol @ by association ROC was puttin out shit way before HOK & is the sole reason cats like blaze, twiztid, & abk even got their foot in the door cuz he produced all their early shit (asides from krazy klan) most of mostasteless is very dope but some beats are nothing special at all… also next to "home sweet home" "homebound" is their weakest album.. but yes ROC has some very dope production & id personally put the shit on "rain from the sun" up against mostasteless easily...

I never heard any shit from him before H.O.K. and don't overrate him just because of his history. I will admit that some of the old school beats were fresh but he on his solo shit always has wack ass sounding beats. As a solo artist; X-Posed possibly be good if it were remastered, Wormholes sucked, Bit's and Pieces sucked, Oh Hell No had some good songs but over all seemed pretty half assed, Welcome To The Darkside was the only album from him that was actually pretty fresh, best song on there is the one with Blaze. Like I said though, I don't know what happened with that album, it was promoted just as much as anything else around that time and the album was dope.

If people are really that distraught about an artist's lack of promotion they should try and find a way to help. I think word of mouth is the best promotion there is. "You know that Cold `187um is releasing a new CD?" "You hear about Twiztid's new Abominationz CD?" "You know that Dayton Family's got this bad ass video for their song called Cocaine?". I mean, isn't that what Psychopathic originally based their promotion off of?
