I am all for genetically modified foods. It’s just a sped up and more precise form of improving the genome, similar to selective breeding which people have been doing for thousands of years. I am not sure what the problem with it is.

personally i grow most of the fruit and vegetables i eat myself. i have a nice little vege patch going and some pretty nice fruit trees.

All heritage vegetables too. so they look ugly as fuck but taste 100 times better than any GMO shit you can buy in the shops.

personally i have become very fond of sweet potato leaves, they grow like weeds and i get about 2 – 3kg of the stuff a month. ive had to trim it back about 3 times since i put them in about 18 months ago to stop them from growing into my vege patch and killing everything.

i have a lattice wall about 2 meters tall and about 3 meters across full of the stuff.

If you are transgender, (which could mean assigned male at birth but actually female, assigned female at birth but actually male, assigned either male or female but actually intersexed, assigned either male or female but actually agender, bigender, gender nonconforming, nonbinary, or gender fluid) means that while your DNA was was decoding and as your body was developing there was some sort of a read code error (it happens a lot if you look at things wider than gender) that causes you o be born with genitals that don’t match the gender your brain is wired for. This doesn’t mean that men and women have different kinds of brains but rather that our brains are wired to communicate to our bodies and there is a discrepancy there. It isn’t mental illness. It isn’t a psychological problem but i biological problem. There’s really interesting science that’s been coming out lately on studies of non binary and gender variant people. 

Also, there was recently an archaeological discovery of a warriors grave from ancient, ancient humans (almost caveman ancient but not quite) who was buried as if they were a man but has what we would consider a “female” skeleton. We also know of several ancient rulers who appeared to take on gender non conforming attributes. One of the ancient Egyptian pharaohs, I forget which one, was a woman who presented as a man and took a wife. According to lore, the wife even became pregnant. 

As far as race is concerned, it was created by and maintained by white people and has followed strict adherence to cultural cues. Unlike gender, it follows biological cues and cultural ones. We understand genetics a lot better than we did a few hundred years ago when we started interjecting race into everything, but back then white people claimed that black people were actually a different species of human, a lower species to be precise. It’s hogwash, obviously. But that was where the idea of race came. White people used to be very nationalistic and europeans today are still very much so, but a lot of the prejudices against the irish for instance have vanished because the idea of a “white race” has solidified the cultures. So, anyway, race is seen as genetically inherited and culturally inherited.

All this is to say is, you don’t decide on your gender or your race, they are culturally assigned. Gender assigns a personal identity while race assigns a cultural identity. You can’t adopt a cultural. If you were born and your brain told you that you were really “black” you wouldn’t be transracial, you’d just be a really dark white person. People who identify as transracial are racists who assign racist stereotypes to biological features and then adopt and perform those stereotypes in an effort to explore their “transracial” identity. In effect, they wear black face. It’s gross. If you’re a transwoman, however, you aren’t performing a cultural identity, you’re matching your body to the way it should have been from day one.

It says pedophiles are excluded from U.S. legal protections for those with mental disabilities and encounter obstacles to getting mental health treatment, which could in effect increase crime. Also, “…research shows, about half of all child molesters are not sexually attracted to their victims.” That might be a good example of rape being an act of violence, not sex. If pedophilia is a neurological condition it may be chemically treatable for those who want treatment, but it’s so stigmatized I wonder if any research company would want their name on that experiment.
