The new monster is a LOT more crispy. Much better mix and his vocals are much clearer

^ Exactly. The original was good, but the new one just has a deeper, more perfected sound. After I listened to the new version, I went back and listened to the original just to make sure that I was hearing the changes correctly.

I like the album a bit more than the last one he did with Psychopathic but I still wouldn't say its as good as Krimson Creek or even The Harvest as far as songwriting goes...a lot of the choruses on here I just wasn't a fan of (that deep chopped/screwed voice they can't stop using at Psychopathic is getting pretty old...my opinion anyways)...also Boondox's flow has gotten a bit messier these days...there's still some great tracks he shines on but on others he just sounds like he's forcing it...really liked Bloody Regrets (the 2nd part of the hook is cool...the 1st part is still growing on me but they killed their verses), Sober Truth is okay but will need to give it a few more listens to have a real opinion on it (I do like the singer on the track...nice change of pace for Psychopathic...they should stick with it...not just on this song but there's a few others that surprised me on here)...Monster is dope...Betrayal is dope...Kikdoe is fun but not the best collaboration from Dox and J...same goes for My Night not being the best Dox/ICP collab but its still a fun track and Shaggy's line about Obama had me cracking up...Dope Boy is kinda cool...Black Eyed Kids is pretty good...Moving On is great...Psycho Symphony is pretty dope...once again the chorus was lyrically kinda corny to me but its always fun to hear some new Syn vocals and between that, the production, and Dox's verses I fuck with the song overall

Same level as Harvest and Punkin' Hed, above South Of Hell, yet not quite as good as Krimson Kreek.
Though, still a future classic.
I do have to say, though I dislike most country music, Movin' On was dope just for how different and original it's beat was.

Okay, I have a question. Are all the songs on Abaddon previously released tracks? I'm seeing alot of people say they've heard Abaddon and Monster before. Are any of the songs new and never heard?

Abaddon and Monster were released before. But the ones on the album are updated.

that's only 2 tracks...I believe everything else is new/never heard...I've never heard them anyways...and the versions previously heard are different then the ones on the album

For an album that doesn't officially drop for another day yet, I have already played it front to back 4 times. And it just keeps getting better with every listen. What an absolutely amazing effort from Boondox. It's becoming clear to me that "Monster" is my favorite track, but in all honesty, every song on Abaddon is good. Even "Kikdoe" has grown on me.

lol i just randomly copped the album today from my hastings thinkin it had already been out for several days cuz everyones been talkin about it haha.. guess i aint sleepin too hard.. i heard tracks 1-12 & figured it was worth a purchase.. gonna listen again one of these days..
