the wachowski sisters are so fucking dope though. And while I didn't feel some of their work, cloud atlas and sense8 were dope as hell (despite the racism in sense8). Fucking loved watching both of those. And it's incredible that these women were able to work out something deeply personal, something so tragically complicated and painful, in such a beautifully and creative way. We should all be so lucky to have that kind of opportunity and so brave to be willing to take it. Not enough art is personal on that level.
Sucks that Lilly was forced out by asshole paparazzi though. No one should be forced out. It should be up to her.

Has anyone seen Louis CK's new show Horace and Pete? It's kinda like Cheers if Cheers was real. It's honest,awkward, painful, and funny at the same time. I wanna see more shows like this one on tv. Thing is it isn't even on tv, he is selling the show on the internet. Dude is breaking new ground.

That's the point though, to be an anti-sitcom. 100% of sitcoms end with everything more or less working out in the end. He described it himself as a tragedy instead of a comedy. It is definitely raw for sure. It's human, and it almost feels organic. It is pretty bleak though, can't argue with that.

Louis CK is definitely a poetic genius. U might also like the film Barfly. It's about the life of Charles Bukowski, an "underground writer who used his poetry and prose to depict the depravity of urban life and the downtrodden in American ..."
