See, I told yall. I MUST hate fags and weirdos because I don't want men going to the bathroom with my young daughter. It might not be much of an issue now, but it will be. I don't care if they are really what they say they are or they are pretending for some pervert reasons, it isn't right. And I'm not saying the scenario would EVER play out.

edit: I aint just talking about my own daughter either. I wouldn't want that for anyones child, son or daughter, manwoman or womanman. The variables don't matter to me.

@DrFreshness I get what you are trying to say and I get that you aren't talkin' bout me. I am just saying there is a third side is all. It isn't all black and white, it rarely is. Not for me at least.

No, at 4 she shouldn't be using the bathroom by herself in the first place, but you said it's something she shouldn't learn until highschool. I learned at 8 or 9 through other kids.

This ^^, the last thing Lucem said. THAT could fix almost everything. When it comes to using public restrooms, a parent should accompany their child. And by "accompany" I mean, standing outside the stall until they're done going. What sick predator is going to mess with your child if you're standing right there?

But the whole seperate restroom thing just for transgender people? It won't happen, or even probably shouldn't. Black people once had seperate restrooms from white people way back in history, and that was over once everyone saw how ridiculous it was. Where do you draw the line with transgender people? Even if they are given their own public restrooms, how long would it last until it is seen as intolerant and discriminating and everyone ends up using the same restrooms again anyways?

Parents need to be responsible and accompany their children in and out of the restroom until they're old enough to know better.

Hypothetically......my wife is with my daughter and she just got done using the restroom and is washing her hands like she should and as she is drying them..this walks in.

How do you shelter/explain this to a 4 year old cause you know sure as shit she is gonna ask.

I like the idea but it wouldn't work my daughter is at the boys are boys and girls are girls stage. She would ask directly after such a response something like "why is he dressed like a girl though and isn't he too old to trick or treat?"

We don't have waffle houses sadly. Never been to one. I think the closest one is two hours away.

You just gave me an idea...this year I am dressing like a tranny for Halloween and taking my daughter trick or treating.

I think the lesson I learned here is never take children to a public bathroom period unless its one of those with one toilet where the door locks XD.

As far as accompanying( i butchered that like four times before i spelled it right) children in, what do you do when theres no woman around and your little girl has gotta go? Do you still walk in there? When I had to do that for my daughter I always waited outside the door. So maybe now that all this is goin on it will be ok for a straight man to walk into the womens bathroom with their child? Idk just asking questions. The more I think about this shit the murkier it gets. holy fuck nuggets.

86 is right though (cept for the black part, two totally different things and situations) they likely will not get their own bathrooms in most places. Maybe if a time came when a higher percentage of the population identify as such, then it will probably be revisited. Like Lucem said, they should probably just suck it up( how insensitive of me) and use the right bathroom. Orrrr maybe we just let the shit slide so we don't hurt anyones feelings. Fuck dude Idk.

in Houston, so if there are any in your area it might be a good option.

Right! I aint trying to sound like a dickhead here. And yes we have much more pressing issues going on. Aint nobody on facebook talking about the Panama Papers but they wanna argue back and forth about this knowing damn well aint nobody gonna change their minds. I only brought it up in the first place cause it was kinda on topic.

This! I know I sound like a conspiracy theorist but anytime something like this comes up in conversation, be it in the media, Facebook, etc etc, I can't help but think what just happened that we shouldn't know about. 

Also as one of the L's in the LGBT acronym, I can tell you transgender arguments and disagreement has been going on for a long time amongst that specific group of folks , and not in a positive light, way before the whole Bruce/Caitlyn announcement happened (which oddly happened around the same time the Dept of Homeland Security almost shut down). Its goes beyond religious beliefs and even I have a hard time coming up with a simple answer/solution. 

So I'll just throw this into the mix: I look like a chick but I also like to fuck chicks. Where should I pee?

Depending on the argument I find myself in, answers vary. I feel comfortable using the Women's room as I am a woman. I've had a handful of folks say I should be using the Men's room because I'm not attracted to men. Which I'm sure would go over so well as I stand at the mirror, fixing my eyeliner, announcing that I have no desire to suck a dick to remind those why I'm in said bathroom.

To me it seems that its a matter of what the person looks like. I have plenty of friends who fall into the more butchier category and have had odd looks thrown in their direction walking in and out of the Women's room.
