Ya know, I've only been on here a couple years but I've been seeing that opinion floating around the whole time. 

What was this forum before? I've read back on a lot of topics (I do that more than I post) and it seemed pretty much the same as it is now. Names changed, inside jokes were different, and the new ICP and/or Twiztid album-the one where they sold out-changed a couple of times but other than that, it seems pretty much the same. So, uh...do I just happen to be missing all those threads that were so much better or what?

Calling someone black is racist. Not acknowledging someone is black is racist. Choosing to make decisions not based on race is racist. Making decisions based on race is racist. Saying that you aren't racist is racist. Saying that you are racist is, of course, racist. Saying "All lives Matter" is racist. Saying "White lives Matter" is racist. Saying anything except "Black lives Matter" is racist. Oh, and just remember that using the word black to denote someone's race is racist so even saying "black lives matter" ... is racist.

It even get sillier than that. Braiding your hair when you are white is considered cultural appropriation and is racist. So, you like to braid your hair because you like the way it looks? Fuck you, you fucking bigot racist!

I dont undestand how people want people of color to have a prefect flawless reaction to all the fucked up shit they have been though. Some have been going through it long before colonization or what have you. Yeah they gotta be perfect.

If u always get slapped or dogged out i dont expect u to have a perfect reaction everytime.

Just how i dont expect white people to have a perfect reaction when accused of being a racist.

I think the over assumption that whites are the main culprit of racist actions is part of the problem.

Every race has some prejudice asshole but the problem is people are being over sensitive.

I am white. If you call me a cracker it doesn't bother me. If you slap me and call me honky I just slap back. This over sensitivity to the world around us is making society weak and damaging self expression and freedom of speech. The only way to truly beat racism is to set an example by leading a decent hate free life.

When I was in highschool I was one of only two white kids. I had to fight every day almost. Do I hate blacks? Naw, I hate the system, news and PC movements that fuel the fire.

I'm not a racist.... If you don't like me, I don't like you... Doesn't matter what color you are.

I am not pretending that none of that could be racist. I am pointing out how out of control it has become. These are actually from real speech codes from university campuses. There are now even some schools where teachers are not allowed to correct grammar in an English class where you are supposed to learn grammar because that is considered racist. The real problem with defining so many, sometimes contradictory things, as racist is that it minimizes the meaning of the word until it’s just background noise and it is more easily ignored or dismissed. This makes it harder to point out and prove institutional racism. I am not making light of the situation. I am pointing out how this behavior has gone too far and is hurting the movement to stop racism.

Do you think I am "white"? I am not. I have been subjected to prejudices and that is why I believe I have a stake in all this. The current climate of over-evaluating too many things as racist is detrimental to ending racism.

They are saying in short words that the Omlecs were black cuz of this and that. One of the major pieces of evidence they claim is cuz they look alike. I see it as a people robbed of thier identity trying rebuild in the shadow of the one that took it away. But they obviously can be accused if being racist and robbing anothers identity. Idunno if im making sense or even if i have point. I think I have been talking about alot of stuff at once and my thoughts are getting mixed up.
